Counterfeit and dubious from a safety standpoint
These are clearly counterfeits. I have the genuine item and the counterfeit in front of me. The through transmission of light from the genuine American Paper Optics product is significantly less than that of the counterfeit. I've held both up to a bright halogen filament light.Furthermore the film looks different on the front. The genuine item has a silver sheen whereas the counterfeits look no different front or back. DO NOT BUY THESE. It's your health on the line.

Not up-to-date with ISO standards
I purchased these directly from Homay. For any prospect buyers, do not buy these from Amazon's vendors. They either fake or low quality (scratches, filter misalignment from the frame, not up-to-date with ISO 2015 standards, or counterfeits). These spectacles, though actually safe to use, are not for more than 3 minutes usage (stated on the specs), which do not comply with the 2015 ISO standards, which imposed that the solar filters must be produced to be worn and used INDEFINITELY. These specs from Homay also have scratches on them. Hence, you can/should go to B&H Photo to buy some on time until July 21. They have the specs on back order until July 10, last I check. The brand is trusted for photographers for many decades, hence quite reputable. They even print their brand name on the specs to comply with the ISO standards, which Homay didn't (another dislike).

but tried it at sunset - it filters good amount of glares
Haven't got a chance to see real eclipses yet, but tried it at sunset - it filters good amount of glares, but keeps the very details of the (very cool) textures of the sun. Really looking forward to it.

Didn't meet the spec; missed the eclipse
Although these had all the right emblems on them, Amazon couldn't verify quality and recommended we not use these for the eclipse.

They worked
I ordered this to watch last summers total solar eclipse. I didn't go blind, so they worked.
