Tank Tire - Propane Tank Holder

It is very difficult to set a propane cylinder down evenly. Usually an edge of the bottom rim contacts at one place and knocks off some paint and likely bends the rim. This "Tank Tire" inserts without tools or fasteners inside the rim where it is securely held. The "Tank Tire is slightly deeper than the rim and it quietly contacts the floor with a firm rubber-like material. The cylinder stays new looking and doesn't leave rust stains on the surface it is placed upon. This is a sturdy item that will last for many years

Great product! A little pricey, but they solved my delima.I have twin 30# tanks on my 5th wheel R.V. and recently installed a wireless tank gauge with magnetic sending units that adhere to the bottom of the tanks. Small aluminum spacers raised the tank high enough to keep the sending units from touching the bottom of the tank tray, but when the tanks were removed and replaced for filling the spacers were constantly bending over and having to be straightened.The tank tires fit nicely in the tank tray and provide the necessary clearance for the sending units. And, once I got them on and seated against the bottom of the tank, there was no way either tank tire was going to fall off.No rust rings, no scarred decking, no more denting of the R.V. LP Tank storage door frame flange and a little more space between the sending units and the tank tray.

Great product to use on propane bottles for my camper to allow the extra room needed for the Tank-Check transducers used to send propane quantity to my cell phone app. I had to modify the propane platform a bit as the tank tire is a bit too wide for the edges around the platform. I could have trimmed the tank tire on two sides to improve the fit instead/as well. If your platform is flat, no problem. They are a bit pricey, but work very well and were the first ones I have come across.

using for my #40 tanks, seems to be good quality and solid yet soft-ish so it wont slide easily, the ring fit nice and snug,via a channel cut in the tire which encompasses the bottom ring of tank., i was expecting it to fit around the outside, so better than i thought! it will stay with the tank when being filled or moved, as far as a stabilizer it doesn't have as big a base like some hard plastic ones, so it might tip easier -vs- one of those, but for my needs it will work great, 4 stars just because i just recieved them today and we will first test them more for the full 5 stars .

Better stability than no base support at all. Compared to several other manufacturer's products, this was nit as wide but those other products kept hitting my leg when I lugged the tank around. I'm happy with my purchase for that reason.

These things are well made, nice fit and well worth the money. Using them on my 30 lb. RV cylinders. Provides the added elevation need for my Propane Monitors plus compensates for the irregularities of the propane tank pan.

I haven't had a chance to put it on our propane tank, but it appears to be of a really high quality. Both my mom and I were impressed. It's exactly what we need to keep the tank from rusting on the floor of our patio.

Fits snugly. Raises the tank just enough for the sensor. Well made. If tank base is well painted when installed, should prevent rusting.
