I needed something sharp to cut my catahoulas nails and this worked great. Easy to use, wide opening, durable as I've been using it for several months now and it's still as sharp as the first day we used it.

They are easy to use . The grooming tools are a extra bonus.

Not sure of these just yet…they were basically unusable out of the box. Two cuts and the pivot screw had backed out far enough where it would no longer cut nails. Being a lover of folding knive, I’m familiar with a pivot screw needing an adjustment so I removed the screw, and in the manufacturer’s defense, there was a small dollop of blue LockTite, but very small and obviously did not hold. Side note on pivot screw: they appear to be Torx screws, I don’t think they are standard sizes, I tried a T10 and T15 torx bit, but neither fit well. I was able to make the T10 work on the male (he/him)side of the pivot, but it slipped multiple times and is on the verge of stripping the screw; neither worked on the female (she/her) side of the pivot and would not grab at all. Once I finally removed the screw, I applied a generous amount of blue Locktite to the threads and I’m currently waiting for it to dry. I will update this review soon with my results.

Got these to do my Newfie nails since he broke my last pair. Work like a charm! They are super heavy duty!!

I love the nail file that came with the clippers. The clippers will be great for a large dogs nails.
