Craftmade BSMED-AZ Designer Surface Mount Round Lighted Doorbell LED Push Button, Antique Bronze (3" Dia)

This door bell looks good. Works fine too - if you can get it installed! The connectors in the middle of the back are placed in such a way that you cannot unscrew or rescrew to connect the wires. OK, after struggling for WAY too long to get the thing wired, then you have to use the CHEAPEST screws to attach the thing to the wall. The screws are painted black to match the cheap paint job on the rest of the body. The second you even look at the screws the paint peels. Then there is a matter of the HORRIBLE phillips slots - not completely cut so you can't screw them in without marring the heck out of the screw head, not to mention the soft metal (screws and door bell body )doesn't hold up to being screwed. For heaven's sake - couldn't the company spend an extra few pennies on decent screws that work?! The body is a stamped piece of metal. It is so soft you can almost scratch it with a fingernail. Come on!I am so glad I can post a review so hopefully it keeps someone else from wasting their time and money! When are companies going to wake up and stop trying to cheat us at every step???!!!In my dream world, all the executives who live like fat cats off selling this cheap crap would live in a hell made up of all this garbage; at every turn everything would be falling apart or wouldn't work!

I tightened the screws for the wires and the button fell apart. I re-assembled it and crimped the button housing back together, but the doorbell doesn't not always rings. Predrill for the mounting screws. I stripped one of them out because they are delicate and cheaply made. The medallion is nice looking but not metal.

It was everything that I hoped for. I had a hard time finding a doorbell that was affordable and was a surface mount that chould hold all the wiring. I love that the button lights up and matches the house colors nicely. It seems durable, but has only been up for a month, so time will tell. Don't get me wrong it is made out of metal and I don't forsee any future problems.

Had an identical rosette come apart during replacement of a diode that was part of my doorbell. Price is reasonable, arrived as promised, easy to install.

Our builder installed this doorbell in nickel and it didn't match the rest of our finishes. I looked and looked for the same doorbell in this antique bronze color and found it on Amazon! Very high quality and reasonably priced. Love it!
