Webcam Cover (3-Pack) Black Metal

Maybe I received a bad batch, but these really didn't work for me. Using the first of three on my laptop, the adhesive seemed like it would work well. I waited for an hour, closed the laptop lip, and when I opened it later, it was not longer stuck. The back of the item didn't even feel sticky. Tried the third and final cover on our iMac, and it lasted about an hour before I found it on the floor, in stuck.Other problem. For the second cover, I tried it again on my laptop. This time, the adhesive worked. The problem was the slide part of the cover. I couldn't slide it with my finger. I had to use a tiny flathead screwdriver to slide the cover. That's fine, I wanted it close 95% of the time, and I could keep the screwdriver in my laptop bag. Closed the laptop, placed in bag, and took it to work. Opened the laptop, and while cover had popped out. But hey, at least the adhesive was solid and the back plate was still on my laptop. I couldn't pop the cover back in. I was applying an amount of force that made me concerned I would damage my laptop. So I took off the back plate from my laptop, and just out of spite, used various tools to pop the cover back into the plate. Even using the others as reference to make sure I wasn't overlooking or putting it in backwards, it took a fair amount of effort... and it popped out again. I'm writing this review late because I recently found it and was reminded of the whole process.But maybe I received a bad batch. I'm not confident in the design, and even if I asked for replacements, I'm not sure it wouldn't be a similar issue where the adhesive worked for only a brief time or I'd have to use some sort of tool to slide the cover.

The metal disk, that moves & covers the web cam - came out in two of my laptops in about 2 weeks, just like that no mishandling, no rough use, no kids - nothing - which makes this product basically useless!! Complete waste of money!! Do not buy this product, not recommended at all.

These are fine for the money. They are very tiny so not the easiest to apply to my laptop with long nail and I'd imagine it would also be hard for a man with larger hands. It's a little challenging to slide the cover to the other side, because it's very flat and little, but they stick well and do the job.

Stay away. Placed it on my MacBook and shut out the camera and never adjusted again and the cover lens fell off. I thought it may be an issue with the first one, but nope, replaced it, again it fell off. Poor quality. Will look for different brand.

They do the job, but they're very obviously plastic. I figured they would be, because of the price, and my suspicions were correct.

I haven't even had the product on my Macbook Pro for move than 24 hrs nor have I even used it for it's intended purpose and the sliding black cover on the adhesive base has already fallen off. Luckily it was pretty easy to put back onto the base and it seems to function, though I fully expect this to happen again as it seems like the nature of this cheap product. I have a feeling over time I will be using the entire 3-pack on the same laptop as they progressively die overtime, which I'm bummed about because I have other hardware I would like to use them and/or would also like to give them to family/friends. The "slider" is relatively loose and can slide on its own, so when putting the laptop into a travel bag depending on the computers orientation the slider may open - it's very difficult to discern whether or not it is open or closed so be sure to check. Definitely beats having a sticky note covering my camera. I actually really like this product despite it being a POS, which is why it got two stars. But don't forget, this product is a POS.

Nice, but small. Previous similar products have been more hefty, and the sliders weren't so loose.
