Water is first ingredient in this Vanille extract
The label says it all. Hopefully my pictures prove the point that others have disagreeing opinions on. It is very watery and not as good as other brands I've purchased.

Bottles of mostly water
This product is mostly water. Although it has the same three ingredients that you find in most all vanillas, vanilla bean extractives, Alcohol (35%), and water, what they fail to tell you is that water is the first listed ingredient. They conveniently don't have a picture of that side of the bottle:/The product description claims that "Our Vanilla is the preferred choice of chefs, bakers, confectioners and ice cream manufacturers who require premium quality in their kitchens." I am a professional baker, but I must not be a "choice" baker, because I do not prefer this stuff. It has the color of a light bourbon, and smells mostly like alcohol. You barely get any vanilla flavor or smell.

Good Value - Good Quality
I don't agree with previous posts regarding breakdown of ingredients list. Top ingredient is vanilla, alcohol 35% and then water.Using this vanilla in my vanilla bean coffee syrup recipe. Flavour is nice, recipe calls for 1 tablespoon per cup of water. I am using 1.5 tablespoons as I prefer a stronger vanilla taste to sugar.

I love Lemur. They are a reliable company. . Their family business grows a high quality vanilla in Madagascar. They make beautiful vanilla products. This vanilla extract seems like water but has a strong vanilla flavor when used in cooking. I use it in my whey shakes for an extra strong vanilla flavor. It has a more delicious taste than other vanilla extracts.

This product is very watery and weak flavored
I bought this product at a store, not on amazon. It is VERY low quality vanilla with very weak flavor. I recommend that you buy another brand and stay away from this one....

the worst Vanilla extract I’ve ever tried
Horrible vanilla extract ! Pure alcohol, you can’t even taste the vanilla in it !Barely any color to the extract. Don’t buy!

Rip Off
This is a joke .. It should be labeled imitation . Do not be taken in by the price . The 1st Ingredient is water , the second alcohol , then vanilla bean . Walmart and Target gives you 1/2 the amount but the 1st ingredient is vanilla bean .
