Works effectively, presuming you buy a nice little ink pad of Chinese stamp ink. The biggest disappointment is the very limited choice of phrases that your stamp bears, and presuming you are (or can read) Chinese you can tell whether they actually say what they're supposed to say why not. But for this amount of money I wonder if I could find a local vendor who could carve me the Chinese Ideogram for a specific phrase I would like to use, rather than settling for the few that this vendor provides. Still, it's very beautiful and quaint.

Arrived in a beautiful box and inside with the seal was a classic red decorated silk bag to keep the stone. All together, an exceptional presentation, with the pre carved chop reproduced exactly as shown in their picture.

I'm careful with my Sumi-e paintings, i try to create the flow and beauty of the art. This chop is the right touch for my work. I'm impressed with the smooth stone and sharp edges of the carving. It's exactly what i wanted.

Very nice chop/seals! Crisp impression. Gift box adds a nice touch, and gives you someplace to store the chop. I am using it on Sumi-e paintings and it looks as good as some of my more expensive chops.
