BUFFERBLOAT FIXED!
I have consistently had bufferbloat issues (average score of D on DSLReports) for months on end. My ISP was zero help and countless online "tricks" I have tried never made a difference. I hooked this router up and overnight all bufferbloat issues have been erased. Now I get an 'A' for bufferbloat every single test I run. Setup was incredibly easy it holds your hand through the entire process and the optimization is done entirely by the router. I literally plugged in the cables, set my wifi password, and everything was fixed. I don't leave many reviews and I was skeptical that this would work as advertised because this was my last resort, I was very hesitant to go down the route of flashing my own firmware onto a router and having to set everything up myself. Unreal. Wired connections are great, wifi connections are great. It's only been a couple days but I can't recommend this product enough.

Disappointing and Overpriced
I just finished setting up the IQRV2 so I haven't had a great deal of time to really delve into the more detailed aspects of the router but I will share a few of the reasons that I will be returning it. The IQRV2 is a rebranded TP-Link Archer c7 with a (mostly) open source firmware. The Archer c7 is, at this point in time, rather dated and is a third of the cost of this router. So, the extra $100 is for the open source firmware and..? Oh right, all of the automated updates and data collection that Evenroute performs on my behalf. No thanks, I don't need second party management of MY equipment and I don't need for MY information to be collected and passed on. Opt Out? Not an option. Oh right, your policy says that you won't share my personal information except for where outlined in your Privacy Policy. So you won't but you will, understood. Speed tests were good and bufferbloat was minimal, as advertised. Unfortunately, I don't agree with the Privacy Policy and I won't be keeping the router.

This is the best router for ANYONE technie or non-techie bar none! It feels like I upgraded to a premium connection package
This is the best router EVER. I'm a Linux Systems Admin and know my way around networks, servers and systems and am aware of the bufferbloat/queuebloat problems that exist largely on home networks mainly due to vendors selling home (wireless) routers with ancient versions of hacked together linux that wasn't properly tuned, sold and promptly forgotten never to be updated again. The IQrouter is the complete opposite. EvenRoute RECOGNIZED the problem, showed people how to detect the issue on their existing equipment before they bought into theirs then offered the KEY SOLUTION to solving the problem (a router with a good design, latest high performance WIFI, current kernel, proper tuning, adaptive magic and a simple but very powerful user interface (for techies like me that give a damn), as well as the default "easy" interfaces for those less technically savvy. Here's what convinced me this router is worth every penny. My home network has a cable connection with about 35 Mbit downstream and about 6 Mbit upstream. My former router had 802.11bgn capability, but suffered from several issues, it needed weekly or more often reboots (seemingly traffic dependent), it would decide to work on wifi for only some devices in the house but not others, it was basically, a whiny baby with weekly hissy-fits. I noticed a severe buffer/queue bloat issues when I started uploading archived pictures to google photos (free unlimited photo storage up to 18Mbit images is awesome!). When uploading, anything else trying to reach the internet fell back to the dial-up age. A simple ping to google DNS (8.8.8.8) would go from 35ms when nothing was going on, to 3200-3500ms (3 and a half SECONDS per packet round trip, OUCH!) during uploads. Now, being a technie, I could try to go the DD-wrt/open-wrt/other route to see if I could try to not-brick my existing device and fix this issue, but time is unfortunately money, and I just wanted the "easy way", and I stumbled upon EvenRoute practically by accident googling for bufferbloat. I ran the speed/bufferbloat test on dslreports and got an "F" for bufferbloat, which fit with my experiences. So I bought it, it arrived in 2 days, setup was largely painless and fast, and I proceeded to run the same test I did before (photo upload) while pinging google DNS. Initially it went to 700ms, and within 10 seconds was back at 35ms while the upload was happily humming away. The DSL reports bufferbloat test now reported a "B" (this was before the optimization phase completed) I tried all the other devices in the house, and low and behold all interactivity was fully back to normal, you couldn't hardly tell the upload was running unless you could sense things down to the millisecond. I've re-tested that several times during the router's "learning/optimizing" phase, and it's better each time (ping times don't climb much if at all, and if they do, they recover to normal quicker than the previous time). So far I'm supremely impressed with this product. The advanced interface give me the ability to do really wild firewall rules if I want do, including even custom scripts (I hope to look into setting up port-knocking to see if it's doable). My only very minor gripe is with the colors and font sizes of the web interfaces, In many places it's grey on while making the fields nearly impossible to read. Font sizes are a bit too small in parts (and fine elsewhere). A little polishing/review by non-developers would improve that greatly. This is the real deal, buy one for yourself, one for your parents and tell everyone else about how much better your network works.
