B7 Custom Heat Shield for Audi A4 2.0T 2005.5 2006 2007 2008 Intake Upgrade

Hands down the best pre-fabricated heat shield for the B7 2.0t. Unfortunate that you can't find Blinktek's design for sale anymore, but after wrapping the entire REV heat shield in gold tape, it does a good job at keeping my intake cool. I matched it with a carbon fiber universal come heat shield/splash guard facing toward the hot side of the engine and I haven't noticed any drops in performance.

I can agree with the other person that it does not fit a stock air box! It will need cutting and a good chunk of the corner! The quality is good however. If you want it to look nice and black again it will have to be sanded and paired after cutting. Kind of annoying but w.e. Only took a few mins! Will take a pic of what I cut to fit stock box

Didn't fit with the stock air intake, had to cut it to make it fit.

Fits on well and takes about 10 mins to mount but the other reviews are correct. You have to cut the corner with a grinder or heavy duty snips to get the stock snorkel to fit correctly. Fits nicely with my custom intake though and keeps the turbo and cat heat off of the intake.
