Great little thing!
Bought as an upgrade from the internet auction special analog power supplies, as that one was frustrating when the input would drift. It's precise, easy to use (if not intuitive), the software is windows only and is mostly just a display, but it supports pyvisa so you can write your own python code to talk to it and do logging.Fan is noisy if you're pulling more than 50w, so bear that in mind, I might swap mine for a noctua or something similar in future. The quality inside is amazing, selastic on every connector, beefy high-rating capacitors, nice little serial comms board, and the screen print markings on the pcb. seem to indicate this is an owon product on the inside. It's not a lab power supply, don't expect it to be, it's noisy on the output and the polling rate isn't massively quick, about every quarter second from what I can tell. It's not priced like a lab supply though!Perfect for charging batteries, a bit of custom code logging, testing RC equipment, emulating other power supplies, and running small to medium electronics projects.

Great display, love it
The graph of current and voltage over the last 60 seconds is a great feature and quickly lets you see what's been going on... very useful for problem solving.Pretty easy to use with all the functions you could want. The fan does get noisy once the power gets up, but that's to be expected with a compact device. The output voltage is also a little noisy, but not enough to worry about for hobby electronics.

A lot of useful functions
Spec's are good, output is reasonably accurate and stable. Setting memory and time-based displays are useful. PC software is adequate but could be improved. They seem to have fixed the 'always on' fan issue, but it does come on very quickly when in use and is very loud. A lot of improvements could be made to this and other functions quite easily, as others have mentioned.Overall good value for the price. Would like it if they did a 120v version!

Excellent
This is one amazing piece of kit. Very staple and low ripple. Very accurate and simple to use. The display is informative and looks impressive. Best of all it's light and takes up little room. Excellent value for money.

Unpack & read manual
Carried out a lot of research/ reviews before ordering.Fan noise modification by manufacturers fixed, always on, 40deg stat, ordered (to be fitted later, switched c14-13 lead to allow front unit operation.Software & drivers to be downloaded using qr code printed in manual, to be loaded onto laptop later.Overall design, construction etc very good, happy with purchase so far!

Nice little PSU
Software that came with the unit was flagged as a virus, but is functional. Not great tho, as no logging possible in software. All you really get is the same info and more detailed view.Apart from that it works as it should as a PSU and at least you get a bit more info than the standard cheap lab psu's. I resprayed mine as I dont like the colour.

Fantastic tidy bench power supply
I bought this as an upgrade from using a much older bench power supply, this is a third of the size of my old one and gives me much more power, I've been using it now for a few months and it's been really nice to use, really simple to dial in and change voltage output on the fly and the display really does give some truly useful information that's really made things so much quicker and simpler while I've been developing new ideas, the one thing I would say to watch out for is that when you power up these units from the switch at the rear which I'd prefer to see on the front it takes a few seconds to boot the screen up and once it does it switches on the output voltage automatically so just make sure your leads aren't touching or you don't have things plugged in that might be damaged when you power on, I'd prefer to see this switch on into a standby state but as long as your aware it's ok, I held back one star based on this issue otherwise I'd say five stars
