It was nice to find a battery that was compatible with my laptop, especially since the cost was much more reasonable than HP wanted to charge.

Horrible bought this in August didn’t even last 6 months. Computer says something is wrong with the battery. I buy literally everything on Amazon and this is one of the very first totally disappointing purchases. Not the same as buying the original HP product. Manufacture says there is a one year warranty but by the time I send it back to them. It will take too much time and cost too much. If manufacturer is reading this they should send me a new item that is not defective. I know this can happen but when it happens to you it is very disappointing. I charge it exactly as it stated with the instructions that came with it and never ever left it plugged in past the full charge. This should not have happened within 6 months. My other batteries on my other laptops lasted me years.
