Customizable Ear Buds (Glossy Black and Gold)

I was fortunate enough to get these on sale during the 2016 Holiday season. Even at full price these headphones are unbelievable. The build quality is top notch. They are housed fully in brass, have 9mm bio cell membrane drivers and use oxygen free copper conductors for improved signal conductivity. I know sound is very subjective. With that said, Torque has engineered a way to make these headphones cater to any genre of music with their Torque valves. I'm more of a hip hop/R&B listener so I prefer the "balanced" valves for listening. It has a slight V curve sound signature. The bass is rich, smooth, and full without sounding muddy or bleeding into the mids or highs. The mids are lush and present in the mix while the highs are crisp and clear without being harsh or tinny. I listened to Vallis Alps "Young" on Tidal (hi-fi) though my V20's qaud hi-fi DAC and I literally almost shed a tear. These sound great with smartphones but to get the most out of them you'll need a decent DAC.

This Torque ear buds are absolutely amazing sounding. The vast variety of valves will let you set it up for any music genre. I found that both clear and balanced valves sound with spine tingling realism for bands like Pink Floyd, Rush, Yes, Hawkwind on my V30 quad DAC phone as well as on ZTE Axon 7 phone with dedicated AKM DAC. When I got them at insanely low 43 dollar price I was jumping up and down as later on they went up to 162 box. Even at that price they are well worth buying. Draw your own conclusions.
