However, from listening to the whistle, I would place the level below 85 Dbs. A person can be exposed to 85 Dbs for approximately 8 consecutive hours before any negative reaction occurs with their hearing. **Q: Is this the whistle that was very popular in the 80’s? looking for that whistle for that specific sound from back then.** A: Yes, it's the old 60's to 80's whistle ring sold in the local candy stores. **Q: Are they loud like a whistle or more kazoo sounding? But getting 10 of these at the current price is still a pretty good deal.
