I like the true length for I am 6'4" and the socks comes up over my calves.I like the True foot size of the sock for my foot size is 15w. At first, it felt snug to get on but afterwards the fit was great

Overall, good quality sock, but when offering large sizes, you have to account for wider feet, larger ankles or calves. It's like putting a straight-jacket on your feet.

My husband likes the over the calf fit. My order arrived very quickly. The designs are really fun. I will keep ordering from this company.

The socks are well made and appear to be hand-packaged. The company is apparently a relatively new startup. I was impressed that they included 3 coupons I could give friends to get a free pair. Good marketing idea.I wanted a sock that truly fits a size 13... and I mean after several washings, not just when brand new. The photos are straight out of the box. The 8" long foot will just barely stretch to a size 13/4E foot, and I fear that after some shrinkage it will be like all the other so-called size 13s that are really size 11s after washing. ***See update below***But if you are 6'-6" tall, you will really like the long calf. It really reaches fully over the calf and STAYS UP ALL DAY. A lot of socks claim this feature, but these socks really carry it out.The socks are comfortable and I do recommend them. I only put this out so the manufacturer may consider making the foot an inch or so longer.***UPDATE*** As I feared, after 2 washings per mfr. instructions, the socks are now too small to wear. They no longer fit my foot even when stretched to the max, at which point, my toes are cramped. It's too late to return them, so I'm out $90. Rating lowered from 4* to 2* IF you want what they claim to be size 12-16.

These are the best over-the-calf socks I have ever worn. Theya re soft and comfortable and stay up all day!

Five stars for the look and length. Three stars for quality. Four star average. Finding “cool” looking over the calf socks for suit wear is difficult. These box sets provide lots of variety - and they are well long enough to be true over the calf. I get lots of compliments on the look, but I know what they feel like. As another reviewer noted, these sox have huge seams on the toe that are truly annoying and uncomfortable when you first put them on. The seam is less bothersome once my dress shoe is on. But after only one wear and wash the heel has already thinned out and displays slight fraying. That hasn’t seem to have worsened after a few more wear and wash cycles, but they definitely thinned in the heel almost immediately. Wearing a suit every day means these will get lots of wear. I don’t see them lasting more than a couple of years even thought I have 10+ pair to cycle through. The lack of any other fun over the calf sox means I’ll keep these and replace them when the wear out.

I bought these over the calf socks because I find it annoying when socks slump down and bunch around your ankles. Well, these sock won’t stay up so now I have twice as much sock around my ankles.Like a dope I washed them before wearing so now I can’t return them.

I like the fact that they have two ribbings, one on the top and one above the ankle. That way even if the top slouches, the socks don't slouch down into your shoes.

Nice design, poorly executed unfortunatly. After a few weeks, the socks fall on the ankle which is very unpleasant and unconfortable.
