The Echologic bags are great! They are very practical, versatile and safe. I love that they are reusable. I have always packed my boys' lunch in plastic containers to help the environment, but this can take up a lot of space in a small lunch box. The Echologic bags really save so much space, making it easier to pack food more efficiently and stop plastic waste.My husband and I love having a green smoothie for breakfast. This weekend we will be able to make our smoothie ahead of time, pour it in this wonderful bag, freeze it, and take it to our camping trip the next day.I also loved how you can put leftovers in these bags, freeze them and throw in the microwave the next day for lunch.

It took me a while to open the bags, because they require a considerable amount of strength. Also, you pull them open in the opposite direction indicated by the arrow on the bag. I got my youngest grandson to open one for me, and after that I had no problem. Now I'm going back to see if they come in larger sizes. They're strong, sturdy, effective, odor-free, wash well and easily, and I'd love to be able to use them to replace gallon-sized zipper plastic bags.

very difficult to dishwash these, since the bottoms do not have drainage holes and will collect water during the wash, so it will either have dirty water in it at the end of the wash, or the weight of the water will make the bag fold over and the inside won't get washed properly.and the amount of plastic the product came in was a bit ridiculous, esp since purchasing this is meant to reduce waste.otherwise, it works great. i do not have the same issues as other reviewers with the putting on or removing the plastic "zipper".

have not used them too much yet but a problem I did have with them is, they each came individually wrapped in plastic. That just seemed not necessary and also I feel most people are buying these to use less plastic.

These are a great replacement for your normal sandwich bags. Very durable and doesn’t leave any smell or weird taste on things inside.

Getting used to these bags, but am happy so far. They are a little tough to open/close and to separate once open. Used it for the first time last night to marinate and cook some fish with my sous vide.

I've always disliked ziplock style bags because they're thrown away so many times after just one use. I figured there must be a more environmentally friendly way to store food, they’re specially great for organization.

I use ziploc bags to freeze fruits/veggies and also to pack lunch for me or my 7 year old daughter I bought this bags and they are the perfect replacement! so easy to clean, they hold better than the ziploc bags, they stand up once they have something inside, so far I have used them with solids like bananas and left over soup and they worked perfectly. i only bought one set but I'm definitely getting more.
