RisloneEngine Treatment,Pack of 1,100QR

I normally don't write reviews but this time one is deserved. Here is my story.For over the last 2 years my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee has had a P0304 code. Which means misfire on cylinder number #4. Sometimes the check engine light would come on then go off on its own and sometimes the check engine light would stay on and I would turn it off with my scan tool. I was not able to clear the engine P0304 DTC code because it was a logged into the PCM as a (permanent code). I was just able to turn the check engine light off with my scan tool I moved the spark plug from Cyl #4 to Cyl #2 and moved the coil pack From Cyl. #4 to Cyl. #6 and installed a new fuel injector on Cyl. #4. None of the above made any difference. I took it to the garage 3 or 4 times and had the throttle body cleaned and mass airflow sensor cleaned etc. the last time I had it in the shop they told me I needed to replace one of the heads on my 3.6 L for $3800.00. They said I had a valve sticking or a failed lifter or rocker arm problem they didn't know for sure until they tore it apart. I mean the engine was running smooth as a kitten making no noises at all. I was a little leery of this. Well I don't know about you all but $3800.00 is a lot of money. So before going that route I purchased a 16oz bottle of Rislone High Mileage Engine Treatment. along with (5) bottles of Rislone 4700 Hy-Per Fuel System Cleaner. I ran a 1000 miles with the above and guess what? It cleaned out what ever it was that was the problem and removed the P0304 (permanent code) which was now listed as just a P0304 and I was able to clear that with my scan tool. So now life is good with no more P0304 code and a cure with only $70.00 worth of Rislone products. I feel like a rich man with an extra $3730.00 in his pocket! I purchased a case of Rislone Engine Treatment and have been replacing one quart of oil every oil change just for safe keeping. So this stuff is a 10 in my book and I hope I helped some of you out with my review. Photo shows the all clear!Happy CamperKevin Constantine

The 32 oz Rrislone was not available in my local stores. I have been using it for many years with good results. This multi-pack was a good value.

This product is very good for cleaning as you drive and safe for engine seals and gaskets. A very effective way to keep carbon around piston rings clean to help avoid in oil consumption issues. I’ve been using this product for years and it does an excellent job. I only use a half quart in place of a half quart of oil and it is perfectly fine. This is also very cost-effective versus other services and products out there. You can add this at the new oil change as I would recommend. If you change your own oil, you will see how much darker the oil is in between normal oil change intervals due to the effects of its cleaning of the internal engine components. As you can see from my review a highly recommend this product as it’s been around for years.

I bought this for a 76 Chevy k10 that had been sitting for years. The engine smoked on startup but after flushing it with this stuff it does seem to run a bit better. I do recommend changing spark plugs after

My dad was a mechanic all his life and swears by this stuff. Every oil change he’s added 1/2 bottle to his Camry and a full bottle to his big pickup truck and they are currently 20 years old and have had few issues. They run smoothly and make no noise.

Fast ship, professional packaging. Used the product to no avail, no noise reduction difference at all. This is not my first rodeo, It was worth a try. Typical GM with loud lifters; however no noticeable difference at all, save your money.Anthony. HBurlington, MA

I recently bought a used 2006 Cadillac CTS with 85K miles. I immediately changed the oil and noticed that it got dark rather quickly and then noticed that after 1,000 miles it had burned a quart. I have never had this with Mobil1 so I was very concerned. I added a quart of Rislone to get it back to normal level and continued to drive and watch the oil level closely.I paid close attention to the sounds the car made and noticed on a cold morning start I could hear the timing chain scrape against the casing for a couple seconds (loose chain not good). So I took it down to the local caddy certified repair shop and had new chains installed. This was probably 1,000 miles after I added the Rislone. Anyway, when they had the engine apart I expected to hear the word "sludge" come up, but they said it was "pretty clean". Now I know they clean up the engine good when changing timing chains, so when I got it back I changed the oil immediately (I don't ever trust the oil those places use) and subbed in a quart of Rislone.I am shocked and pleased to say that after 1,000 miles when I check the oil on my dipstick it is still nice and golden... clean as when it went in. I have never seen this before and my only answer is it must be the cleaning action of the Rislone. I plan on putting in a quart with every other oil change (I've read you might not want to do it every oil change) for the life of the vehicle. I'll be very curious to see how long the oil stays clean after the next change without the Rislone.In my experience, this stuff works as advertised.Side note: The chain was indeed stretched, which I am assuming was the contributing factor to my engine burning oil. If you own a V6 caddy and it starts burning oil, start listening carefully for signs of a stretched chain. If you catch it early you will save your engine.
