just received the camera, hooked it up to a elipsis hotspot and my phone in a couple of minutes worked great!, i did not download the app update, then tried to connect another new phone and it would not connect. i reset the unit and it connected fine, i did download the update for app and i get system busy try later which i ve seen in other reviews, i have not tried to reconnect the 1st phone yet, i hope this bug gets fixed! glad i didnt download update on both phones, hopefully it was temporary, but some reviews looks like a buggy update, also i hope you dont have to reset the unit when switching phones, we will see.... but as far as the unit it works great, good images and you can move the camera with a swipe, very cool!

I was a little unsure buying this item because it was extremely cheap and you usually buy what you get. I am completely happy that I bought this item! My dogs are very naughty and I’m able to check on them and see if they’re acting out. They can even here me when they’re up to something. Highly impressed and everyone should get one in replacement of a baby video camera as it has two way sound.

It came on time and I open the package and it has a European adapter that doesn't a work in the good U.S. of A. So I gave it a one star for that. If you have a travel adapter I guess you could use it!

Unless I want to buy a set of U.S. plugs and reasonable length micro USB cables for these cameras, they are effectively useless. Avoid this option unless you leave in Europe.

I couldn't get this to connect over the Wi-Fi and I followed the instructions. I plugged it in with the Lan line and it worked good. I just didn't have a lot of leeway with placement. The alarm, which is cool, kept going off every time the lights would turn on.

I buy it doubting for several comments, but after trying it works perfectly even in moderate light conditions. It does what it says, takes photos, videos, issues movement alerts and sends an email. Personally I recommend it if what you are looking for is something simple for home and family security.
