The directions came with no assembly insructions in English. It was still simple to figure out, but I hope there were no cautions I should have known. The brackets that guide the sprinkler back and forth tend to work upwards and prevent the sprinkler from working properly, I thought they were broken after a week of use but found the issue. Maybe that was in the directions that I couldn’t read, and google translate didn’t make sense of it either.

Large diameter pattern
I have 4 of these and use to water freshly planted grass. They have a larger pattern than the Nelson sprinklers I am also using and appear to be pretty robust. Have to deduct a start because I broke one when I got a little rough installing in hard ground. Still works fine though.

Look elsewhere
I was disappointed by these sprinklers. Their maximum distance is maybe half the length of a normal pulsating sprinkler I replaced, which is your run of the mill, Lowe's bought sprinkler. For my yard, I just had to adjust where I was placing these and have 3 sprinklers to run instead of just 2, so it isn't completely unusable, just far below expectations of normal performance.

Very useful design.
Much better than the kind you buy at Home Depot. The fact that it has a little ledge on it that you can tap into the ground with a lump hammer makes it much more versatile than the ones without that ledge. I broke two Home Depot sprinklers like this trying to force it into hard ground. This one went in great using a hammer.

Well constructed, performs well
Excellent construction. I like the all metal construction the metal spike and flat area for your foot on the spike makes it easy to push into hard ground, Unlike many other plastic sprinklers is less likely to break the spike. It sprays well . I cannot comment on longevity sinc I have had it only for a couple of weeks.

Low Quality.
Pretty light-weight, low quality feeling metal. Thought it was plastic initially!

These are amazing. If you use with your garden hose, you need the rubber washers.
