Designed for the first time modeler or the expert craftsman who wants to build a realistic canoe right on their table or work bench. Teaches the actual building technique of wood strip construction. Each kit comes with a bundle of selected clear pine strips and a sturdy MDF strong back that the 13 lettered cnc cut forms slide in to. This creates the form which you glue the clear pine strips over, producing a real life like canoe. And what really tops it all off is the rich Red cedar toe rails, deck caps, seats, thwarts, real seat cane webbing, thinly cut pine ribbing for an authentic look, plus a paddle kit, wall mount, 2 copper half rounds for the stems with 6 cedar stem laminates, brass brads for the look of bolts in the gunwales, detailed step by step instructions and more. All parts carefully selected to ensure a museum quality heirloom. This is as realistic of canoe kit as the full sized version. A great unique gift for that outdoors man or paddling enthusiast. Basic wood working handtools is all that's needed. Just like building the real thing. You'll be proud to say "I built it myself". 100's have been built.
