This is a great step - it’s sturdy, stable but isn’t heavy to move. The handle has a soft, non-slip, comfortable grip to hold on to.The handle does need to be assembled and attached to the base. There is a packet of screws, nuts, washers and an allen key. I thought they were missing but found them tucked under one of the flaps of the box. I found it a little tricky to assemble but got there within half an hour. There are instructions but I didn’t find them useful.Very pleased with it.

Once assembled it makes a sturdy stool/safety step which my wife uses for getting in and out of the bath. The only fault with this item is the assembly instructions. It contains references to a "silver switch"? The supply also includes 8 curved washers which are not referred to in the instructions. I have shown the correct positioning of these washers in the photo. The bolts are fairly difficult to fit as the holes do not perfectly align but if the components are all loose assembled first the nuts can then be progressively tightened until the whole assembly is rigid.

This was a present for my Grandad for Father's Day. It arrived on time and the stool was undamaged. However. The box it was delivered in was wrapped in black plastic. Removing this uncovered a still very wet , and smelly, cardboard box - not a great way to present a fathers day gift to my 96 year old grandad. Very embarrassing

This step is well made and solid and would recommend but if you are not a DIY person you may have problems assembling handle. You need a special hex key to tighten screws and this is not supplied so you will have to buy a set unless like me you have most tools available. Otherwise handle is easy to assemble.

I like the way it helps my partner get into the shower - well worth the money and easy to put together and it is non slip.

Larger footprint than most steps, very sturdy, nice height handrail. I used it to get in and out of the bath and to open the bathroom window which is normally difficult to reach.

Good little stand but handle cannot be screwed tight so is loose and wobbly so moves around so is not durable for standing on or climbing high with it etc

Packaging was damaged, nuts and bolts were rattling around. The very small plastic bag they were in, had split. The frame was scratched and dust in the plastic bags containing the frame.Easy to assemble
