The criteria for me to get a USB-C hub is one that gives access to all the ports you need and is small and light enough to easily keep in my bag at all times. It shouldn’t be too expensive, and it should work reliably without getting too hot or any slow transferring issues... and this one checks it all....

Not compatible with my 2017 Macbook Pro
Says it is compatible with Thunderbolt 3, but does not work with my new MacBook Pro. Nothing on the adapter works. Can't synch or even charge my phone through USB. Unable to connect Monitor via HDMI connector. If I plug my laptop charger in through this adaptors Type-C connect my laptop does not charge.

A device like this is mission critical for me. I give lots of company workshops, so using my own Mac is really important. I need to be able to go into a classroom, hook up and teach. Unfortunately, this device has never once successfully worked in hooking up to a projector. The HDMI to MAC worked when I was hooking up to a TV, but that was the only time the thing actually did what it's supposed to. Maybe I just got a bad one, and it's been awhile of me trying to use it, but this device is a loser for me, and resides in the garbage. Money wasted.

This is very nicely build little adapter. Just enough for my MacBook Pro 13": connect to a 27 inch 4k monitor and a mouse, plus charging at the same time. Great price! I can afford to buy couple more for my on the go bag and home office.

Works at most of time
Nice for supporting USB, HDMI, and type-C. The resolution is not bad. The only problem is that it doesn't cast screen immediately, and you need to adjust the interface for connection.

Thanks for unique adapter for new Macbooks with its scarcity of ports, for use with external monitor
For Macbook Pro late 2016 this was only workable solution for use with an external monitor that has no HDMI port. Needed charging port, and USB port in one device. External monitor not HDMI compatible but used other Thunderbolt 3 port to hook up adapter USB to Displayport (not mini). Apple made a big mistake not having at least 3 ports available. Nobody makes adapter like yours, but with full size DisplayPort instead of HDMI - so that is a business opportunity. Your Elnath unit worked immediately out of the box with zero issues, which made me quite happy after trying several other alternative hookup methods.. I used your USB port to connect with a USB hub for non-wireless devices like mouse, backup drives, printer. Not everyone wants to use the cloud, nor everything wireless or bluetooth.

the same color as my PC
I have an HP envy and the color is exacly the same!! It is a great product, with excelent quality. I wanted this for a long time and now it is here. No regrets!!
