Genuinely Better Than Most Name Brands
I've been building guitars for 15 years, and have used every tuning machine brand and model under the sun. These tuners, specifically the Pro version, are among the best I've ever used. The gears feel like a $400 set of Waverly machines. They are astonishingly smooth and have less backlash than 90% of name brand machines. For the price, they are BY FAR the best value for the money. I will be using these before Grover, Wilkinson, Gotoh, Kluson etc. They perform as well as Hipshot tuners for almost 1/4 of the price. My son and I built a guitar for him, and I bought these because I was wanting to save some money. I just figured these would get me by until I could save up for some nice Kluson machines, but these tuners feel even better than the Kluson's and will be a permanent fixture in my shop from now on. I've already recommended and installed them for several clients since then, and they all love them. The finish is very nice, as well. No obvious plating defects or burrs. Very clean and smooth finish. The locking mechanism is well machined. The tolerances aren't absolutely perfect, but they're good enough to work as if they are perfect. Other budget brands have WAY too much slop and do not effectively lock the strings. I'm 100% confident in these locking mechanisms ability to hold the string in place. We've had no issues with slipping, and we've played the guitar hard and well for about a month now. Finally, the dimensions are perfect. No odd sizes, holes in the wrong spot, stamping/machining inconsistencies, etc. The dimensions and layout are exactly what you'd expect and match their spec sheet. I really cannot recommend these enough. I applaud the team who were behind these. They did an excellent job and clearly cared about the end result, which really shows. It's not often a budget brand releases something of this level of quality, so I have a ton of respect when they do. It's an incredible value for the price, and I could not be happier with my purchase. Time will tell how durable these are, and I will update my review if any issues do arise, but I expect that I won't need to do that.

Amazing tuners for the price
Works amazing! Tuners turn very smoothly and stay in tune without issue. Installation takes no time at all.

Excellent upgrade.
This is the second strat that I've upgraded from vintage split top tuners to this Guyker product. It simplifies string changes but also provides a better tuning control - I assume due to better quality internal components. They do add a noticeable bit of weight to the guitar.

Vintage Style, not vintage.
I tried putting these on a true vintage guitar: a Kent Lido from the 60's. While they did fit and looked perfect, I had to enlarge the holes slightly and use a few of the original screws. The spacing was slightly off so I had to place them out of order, but it doesn't bother me much. I like the quality of the actual gear head. They're a nice ratio and very smooth to turn, and they stay in tune relatively well. The only reason I knock off a star is because they didn't fit my true vintage guitar. I'm sure that if you put these on a Stratocaster or something they would fit fine.

Guyker Vintage Locking Tuners
These were a perfect drop-in replacement for the worn out stock tuning machines on a Squier Classic Vibe ‘50’s Telecaster. I reused the original bushings and screws, as the bushings were the same fit and style but the screws included were about 1 mm longer than what I removed. The locking mechanism works as advertised and the machines turn smoothly without binding or noticeable loose areas. Much better than the worn OEM tuners.

Perfect fit and upgrade for Squier vintage tuners!
These tuners were a perfect fit for my Classic Vibe Jaguar. Installation was quick and easy. Locking tuners make restrings so much easier so this is a great upgrade over the stock vintage tuners. My low E string tuner was not tuning smoothly but Guyker replaced it quickly and free of charge, they're a great company to deal with. I'd say overall the tuners are not as high quality as higher priced tuners. The turning mechanism sticks out a little far and sometimes get turned in my gigbag leading to an out of tune string. However for the cheap price I don't mind relocking a string every now and then.

Some things are over thought and that's not good!
They look pretty and nice materials, but beware! I have bought other sets of these for acoustic guitar, and because of the points on the ends of the back plates, they wouldn't fit top to bottom on the back of the peg head. I had to take each tuner, and file the points off so that they would align with the hole spacing. I made it look good, but it was a lot of trouble to do this. Now with this set, I was surprised to see that they pre-filed those points! Wow, great, right? No. They filed them so short, that with the existing, typical, Strat peg head holes that are there, the tuners don't touch each other. So? Well, since they are filed off, there's a half a hole for the screws, and one full hole at the top and bottom of the whole row. In addition, they give you 6 total screws; I guess they thought one screw would hold the bottom of one tuner, and the top of the next. No. The screws have a tiny head, and the gap between tuners means those screws won't hold both tuners above and below! As a matter of fact, a half a hole means they won't even hold one tuner. What a mess! Who thought this out? I had to drill special holes, two in one spot, and use tweezers and the screws form the old tuners, which have bigger heads, to hold down the ends of the tuners. Not a great look, not a great hold, not a great design. The rest of the tuner seems fine, but pick something else. I still might just return them Buyer beware!

Locked in!
They work really well, stay in tune and also compliment the finish of the guitar! The bushings fit my squier J mascis Jazzmaster perfectly and they feel very sturdy.

Installed on a modern headstock
Bought these as i felt the price is good enough for locking tuners. Then realized since these are vintage design (looks better than modern though), I had to drill my headstock and buy some additional adapters to fit them in. But once installed its working far better than my stock tuners. Note that even with locking tuners, the guitar will go out of tune but will keep it in tune much longer.

Dropped In Nicely, Seem to be Good Quality
These dropped right into the neck for my Jaguar. I was waiting on a set of Gotoh/Fender Vintage locking tuners that had a delivery date that kept getting pushed back, and I just wanted something with lockers to tide me over and get everything back together. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The bushings went in without too much drama, I gently used a small c-clamp to press them in evenly. The tuners all lock and turn nicely, they seem to stay in tune, and they look great. Installing the units to the neck was a cinch as everything lined up perfectly, and the screws all went in nicely. I'm not sure the Gotoh tuners would be that much of an upgrade, at more than twice the price. I'm not in any hurry to replace these, that's for sure. It's nice having the lock on a knob too, it makes string switches a breeze, and no more fussing with multiple string wraps around the peg. Stick the string in fairly taunt, clamp it, and then turn it until its in tune. Makes me wonder why I've not gone to this style years ago.

Locktuners
Verry good tuners.

Nice but fiddly to install.
The first locking tuners I've ever had. Seems easy enough to use and look nice. They are off course a lot chunkier than a standard tuner but not too bad. If I bought some again, I'd probably get a different style because these traditional style are a bit fiddly to line up when installing. You need a VERY narrow small screwdriver to get between the covers (I realised later that I could have completely unscrewed the locking wheel to give more space!) and will need to pre drill perfectly to avoid snapping screws. Make sure you measure the headstock holes diameters! I didn't. On my Squier "Tattycaster" I think the holes had been reamed out for a wider tuner in the past, so I had to get some other parts to make them fit.
