Seabiscuit Shockproof Waterproof Phone Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus/Galaxy S8 (Galaxy S8 Plus)

Now I know the phone is waterproof but I bought this to go deeper for a longer time while on vacation. Plus I didn't to clean want salt water out on my s8.The case is nice and very sturdy. It doesn't claim to have good drop protection but it definitely can survive a drop or two. The only problem with this case is that it claims to be transparent. Now the back is perfect and completely transparent which is great. However the front has dots all over the screen. At first I thought it was necessary to stop the screen from sticking the the screen protector but it doesn't. If you don't put the phone in perfect the screen sticks to the protector and causes a wet effect anyway. I'm not sure why the dots are there but they are annoying and should be mentioned in the description.

Phone case works exactly as advertised. It's waterproof as long as you follow the instructions provided. Fingerprint sensor works and so does the touch screen with a little harder touch than usual. However, once the phone is fully submerged in water, the touch screen nor the fingerprint sensor will work. Im fairly certain the reason is because the water is diffusing your skins electrical contact which makes it impossible for your phone to respond to your touch commands. So if your into taking under water photos or videos, I suggest starting the video before you submerge in water. Photos can be taken directly in water using the physical lock button double tap camera feature and volume rocker because using the physical buttons seems to be the only functioning parts of the phone underwater. That probably should be advertised but they certainly deliver on what they do advertise.

Phone in this case since new for 11 months now and used constantly. I use it in fresh and salt water, snorkeling etc. The photo and video quality is good, and not really comprised by the case. Audio quality for calls is also good. Originally had a gorilla glas screen protector on the phone inside the case, but this caused audio issues / echoes etc for calls and video recording.Have dropped the phone 100+ times and phone is fine. The case is showing sihns of wear, and it finally failed last week. The lock button came off and can now no longer use the case as one cannot push the button, and the case is no longer sealed. I still think its a great case and going to try get a replacement now. Its lasted almost a year of abuse, which is very good, considering it lives with a marine biologist that is hard on gear...

Good quality case, but the plastic over the screen doesn't fit tightly, making the touch a little wonky. Although the case quality is good, I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought this case so I could take pictures in the ocean for our vacation and I have to say it did a good job. The only problem I had with it is once it is under water it is kinda hard to push the button to snap the photo and the camera would turn around own its own when I first would put it under. Besides that is it a good case and it does do its job this is how the picture looks

Fits my s8 fine and keeps it dry while I snorkel. The window covering the lens looks flimsy though, but still holding up after about 10 uses.

Works great my 4 year old grandchild has decided it was ready for testing and splashed me heavily in the swimming pool. My phone works great. The case kept it dry while I took pictures of her splashing around.

Case does what it says. It takes away ever so slightly from the smooth finish of the galaxy S8 Plus. But for the 800 bucks spent on the phone I consider the trade off more than worth it.
