Vanishing Treasures

And it was on cassette. Lost that copy so long ago due to youthful ignorance (i.e. left it on the dash of a car in the sun), but now I got it back, in CD form. The only qualm I have with this particular copy, is there's a burn error in the Track 1/Track 2 gap.In detail: Track 1, "Let's Talk Story" ends at 4:33, then at 4:35, the next song kicks in, "No Ke Ano Ahiahi" before starting into the next physical track on the CD, where the song resumes, gapless 4 1/2 seconds into the song.It may have been a manufacturing or software error when the CD was burned.Overall, a great album, but the recording error reduces my rating to a 4/5

Love their music!

Great album from Hawaiian Style Band. This group was popular in the 90s and now have disbanded. Light easy listening Hawaiian songs with some catchy tunes.

Great music was made in the 90's

CD was in great shape and the Music is Awesome but the plastic case was broken. other than that Great!!!

This was the first Hawaiian Style Band's work. The blend of Bryan Keslyer and Sister Robi did a remarkable job. Their style is not a typical Hawaiian music with steel guitar and ukulele. They broke free from the traditional "Hawaiian". Their creation almost sounds like today's music with Hawaiian flavor. Local radio stations still play music from this CD. It is the proof that "Vanishing Treasures" had survived the test of time.

I've lived in Hawaii my entire life. If you want to listen to a cd that captures what the "locals" listen to, this is it. Enjoy!

ハワイアン・スタイル・バンドのベスト盤は所有していましたが、「ラブ＆オネスティー」収録のオリジナル盤がほしくて購入。ブライアン・ケスラー、ロビー・カハカラウ、ウェイド・キャンバーンといったメロディー・メーカー＆ボーカリストの実力はメインランドで十分通用するセンスを持っていると感じました。（今頃ですみません）最近は、テレサ・ブライトやエイミー・ハナイアリイ・ギリオムなどのバンマスを務めるベースプレイヤーのスティーブン・ジョーンズとブライアンが、ヒーリング系の音楽やハワイアン・ジャズを展開していて、幅の広い大人の音楽を奏でています。そちらもいいのでお勧めです！

大変気に入りました。毎日聴いてます。車にも入れっぱなしです。

大好きなLOVE&HONESTYが欲しくて購入。他の曲が残念すぎた・・・・・
