There very thin and have a slight sweet taste. There soft/ chewy. With no added anything and as the only Yakon slices on the market there quite unique. There taste is significantly milder then Alovitox’s syrup. Not as sweet. And they don’t taste to me like molasses. The syrup tastes more like molasses. And being dried there not exactly GERD friendly. But, there way better then most dried commercial fruit/ veggies. And the health benefits are less then buying and cooking whole Yacon’s. If they were cheaper or more bags like 4 at the same price I’d be happier.

If you like snacking Yacon Slices are ideal. Slightly moist and chewy and sweet. I, however, am not a 'snacker'. I bought them for the gut benefits. Yacon contains a prebiotic, Inulin, which breaks down into a probiotic, fructoogligosaccharides, which helps promote a healthy, happy gut. Yacon is a pleasant way to keep your microbiome happy.

The good reviews on this product have to be fake or bought. This is the most awful snack I have ever put in my mouth. You can accomplish the same taste and texture by slicing a bland apple and partially dehydrating them, and it wouldn't cost you 12 dollars.
