No, this beehive is unassembled. But assembling the beehive is very easy. The hive has pre-cut dovetails and pre-drilled holes, which are also equipped with screws. It will not take a long time to assemble a beehive.

Do I need to be painted even though this beehives were beeswax coated?

The beeswax coating on new hives will last for a long time, so there is no need to reapply beeswax. However, the beeswax will wear off over time, and then you can recoat the hive with beeswax to make it last longer.
