If you are going to use this one or any of the ones this thickness you need to get the inflation spot on. It is not thick enough to allow for any underinflation, as that will put you in contact with the ground. It is also quite slippery, as all of the ones with this material are going to be. It did not, ultimately, work for me, but the company honored it's warranty so good on them for that.

I hammock camp and needed something smaller than a rolled-up pad but just as light for summer camping. This fits the bill and unlike pads, with its air channels, I don't get that back sweat on the warmer nights. Bonus: I got the bright blue one so when I drop it in the dark it's a lot easier to find. :)

We camp a lot. In our car, in a tent... or not in a tent because I forgot the tent, #OOPS.But I honestly didn't mind sleeping under the stars during the meteor shower... especially on this mat. What a difference it makes! After using this on one trip, I'm kind of confused as to why anyone would want to purchase a huge blow up air mattress when this is just as good, if not better. You're not sinking into the middle of a giant air mattress, getting sweaty stuck to your SO. You feel comfortable, yet grounded. Camping isn't all about comfort but this mat made the trip all that much better because everyone was well rested :-) Super happy with this small investment. 10/10 recommend

Works well if u lay flat on ur back, felt the ground a tiny bit when trying to lay on side

I bought one a few weeks ago, took it camping, loved everything about it... and then I just bought two more with the goal of taking them backpacking. If you are going to compare this with a big air mattress that you need a pump for, then forget it. But for backpacking, this weighs just one pound and is very compact, and it is the most comfortable backpacking pad I have ever laid on.
