Easy to use
Unlike several other double stick tapes I've used in the past, this one is much easier to peal the backing from after sticking to the first surface. And it also seems to hold much better than the others as well. I've used this on an outdoor application facing the hot full summer sun and it's been retaining its grip extremely well. This is now my go-to double stick tape for all appoications.

PERFECT!!
I once tried using fabric tape and was super disappointed as it didn’t work even to ‘hem’ thin fabric…until I found this tape!!!!I wanted to reupholster two of our old metal folding chairs which frames are still in ‘like new’ shape. As expected, I found that the chair cushion upholstery was originally done with professional staples.Personally, I feel this tape (1”) actually worked better than staples and yes, I applied fabric over the original upholstery fabric! The fabric that I used has been holding on very well to both chairs’ cushions.I’ve done this project before Christmas (2023). It’s March 2024 so about 4 months of sitting (on and off) on both chairs and the fabric hasn’t moved at all!I also used this tape on another project (a wine rack “skirt” to hide what we store under the rack) and again, this tape worked perfectly.I can be a bit difficult to keep longer pieces of tape line up perfectly (on a ‘straight line’) with fabric trims and this is especially true with thinner fabrics, such as sheer. It’s VERY VERY STICKY so yes, there’ll be goo left on your scissor blades but that’s fairly easy to wipe and remove with things like ‘goo be gone’ and other types of oils or even just water with soap.Just be aware that while the goo CAN be cleaned out of metal, perhaps even plastic (though I haven’t tried it on plastic yet!), it’d be very difficult perhaps even impossible to remove this tape goo from fabrics and other materials, such as paper and cardboards, without causing major damages.Once fabric touches this tape or vice versa, it’s there for good! You want to keep this tape stored in its own box or any other box. My roll accidentally fell on our carpet and even though it fell on its side, it literally stuck to the carpet!I have a glass top desk and this tape left a ton of goo residue over glass as well…good thing that I found no issues wiping all the goo residues off my desk glass surface. In summary, this tape needs to be handled very carefully…but I guess that’s to be expected. So for anyone who wants “easy, clean jobs”, this IS NOT a good choice of adhesive! However, if you can handle being careful and doing a bit of cleaning afterwards, so far, this is the best reasonably priced fabric tape I’ve found in terms of instant and long term/permanent adhesion!!!!Because this tape is so sticky (that’s gross understatement!), you do have to be patient and careful when applying it, especially when trying to peel off the backing paper.I also recommend using gloves as it does stick to skin. However, gloves made peeling off the backing paper more difficult so I decided against it while working on the second chair and it was just fine as I didn’t have any issues washing off a bit of goo that transferred to my fingers tips (tip: facial cleansing wipes worked as a “perfect pre-wash hack”!!)I feel it’s good to point out that this tape isn’t meant for “reversible” re-applications…but then again, that’s to be expected! In other words, there’s no repositioning this tape without causing some major type of mess and damages on fabric and other surfaces. This tape also “bunches up” while we try to push or pull on it.I only deducted a star as the manufacturer could’ve done better job at packing and protecting the side of the roll, which does stick to things as well!!!Though it has to be handled with much care, it provides great adhesion and therefore, it’s great for some “irreversible” permanent projects hence it does what it’s supposed to do…obviously, I do recommend it! 🤩👍

Sticky as hell
Very sticky tape . Just what I wanted. Did upholstery in 2 different vehicles. Seems to work great on leather and synthetic upholstery materials. Only time will tell if it holds up over time . Just in case shoe glue was used from time to time.

Works great
This tape is really strong and adheres very wellJust don’t use it to attach anything to a painted wall as it will remove the pant if you take it off

Worked well for embroidery project
We used this to finish off a cute embroidery project of three small hoops to hang on the wall for decoration. We needed to fold in and tack down the sides of the fabric that weren't embroidered, to hide them under the hoops. This tape is sticky and strong enough to hold down the extra fabric, and doesn't show on the other side.

I don't understand!
I thought I was safe ordering this because it has 4.5 stars and 600+ ratings. After receiving and using it I don't understand how that could be. It says it can be used to hang photos on the wall. It is INCREDIBLY sticky. Yet, the first one I used it on fell in less than 3 hours, leaving the tape on the wall. Another later that day, with the tape stuck to the back of the frame. Another, very small one, the next morning. I started trying to remove the rest of the ones I had hung. They aren't at all easy to pull off the wall and they were pulling drywall off with it. Yet the ones that fell did not pull dry wall off.My order arrived with no packaging, no print material of any kind to tell me what it was or how to use it. I looked at the photos on the product page, cut strips, attached it to the back of the frames and pressed them against the wall.Very disappointed and kind of upset at the damage to my walls and the frames that broke when they fell.
