None of the buttons, charging port or camera are interfered with. The silver color has a metallic sheen which looks nice. And it's a color which is easier to find instead of black. The ring rotates so that you can be comfortable holding it in practically any position, and it will also serve as a stand to prop your phone on a desk or table. The base of the ring is metal so it attaches very well to the magnetic mount in my car. My only very MINOR gripe is that the ring and it's base are raised about 1/8" from the rest of the back, so when I lay it down on a flat surface it's a little wobbly. If it would lay flat it would be completely perfect!
