Exactly what I was looking for!
TLDR: If I could give this a 4.5 out of 5 I would, this is almost exactly what I was looking for. These work GREAT everyone! Now to explain...I wanted to add some new lighting in our basement and add a few more lights. The hassle of putting in new can lights was about the same cost as replacing all of them with new puck LED lights, and so I went that route (a little more work, but more fun).So I got 6" puck lights for my 6" recessed cans. Of course after I took the cans out/down, the drywall around it was all messed up. Hoping that the new puck lights would cover it all completely... I WAS WRONG! Why do they make these lights this size... size them up like 1/2in or even 1cm and EVERYONE would be GTG!However, because I wasn't fine, I looked into options for this: bigger lights, drywall repairing, and then these goof rings (I didn't know they existed, and love their name BTW). So I bought a pack of 12 (since I only needed 11 for all my lights), and as soon as I got them, they worked "almost" perfectly, Apparently the style puck lights I got have a tiny screw bump out on opposite sides (2 total) of the light. So naturally these goof rings didn't fit. HOWEVER, they are plastic and so I was able to use my utility knife to cut small slits into them and voila, they fit perfect! They sit out about 1in further than the original puck lights, so they cover the drywall cuts with ease!I am very pleased with this product and the quality of them. Anytime I replace anymore lights (which seems to be a new normal for my business), I will be using these a lot more!!

They work well but you shouldn't need them
This is the SECOND TIME I, a professional electrician, have had to buy these for a customer. You need to be REAL careful cutting holes for hihats, I cannot stress this enough. ALWAYS make sure the holes you cut are the exact size you need. When I did mine in my own home, the holes were too small, so I had to cut each one with a keyhole saw. Very annoying and messy. I thought I learned my lesson, to not trust the package and cut bigger holes than recommended. I did my friend's house with an adjustable hole cutter, and wouldn't ya know, the holes ended up too big. Goof rings.I did my neighbors house last week, actually measured the hihats, and set the adjustable cutter accordingly. It drifted open. Goof rings. So now, I have 4", 4 1/4" and 6" hole saws. I cannot recommend enough to be precise with cutting those holes. Goof rings will save your installation, but they're a pain to install. Do not wire 10 hihats then expect to install these, you might have to unwire every one to put these on.Having said that, they work really well for what they are for.

Flat
Look nice, and a little disappointed they didn’t have a ring insert with a little bit of a slope. They are just very flat. Some of them didn’t go flush to the ceiling. However, we have them up on a very high ceiling so I don’t even notice.

Gloss White Goof Trim Ring for 6" Recessed Light Trim Can Light Outer Dia 8 In, Inner Dia 5.8 In
I really made a mess while trying to cut holes for my recces lights. I drilled the hole way to wide/large. Therefore, the lights did not fit properly and looked very raggedy. The product arrived as described. The quality is great. Very easy installation. Worth the price.I thought I would have to rip down and reinstall new drywall, basically start over. But...The Gloss White Goof Trim Rings saved the day!Yay!

Inside hole was not correct size.
They list it at 6 inch inside diameter. It was 5 3/4. Have to cut the rest out.

I'd be happier if they got the inner diameter correct.
So many trials and tribulations trying to retrofit a light into this shower space. The outer diameter was enough to cover the the rough edges. The inner diameter was too small for the retrofit light I just bought from Amazon. I was able to increase the inner diameter with my belt sander. The inner diameter is hidden under the light escutcheon and it doesn't have to be perfect. It seems like inner diameter should just fit the standard dimensions of a recently bought retrofit light. I'm also not too happy about the fact that I needed to buy five when I only needed one. But in the end I didn't have to return it and I got the project done. I guess that's saying something. I don't know what I'll do with these other four rings that I don't need and probably won't need in my lifetime.

Inside diameter stated is wrong
Bought this item based on having an inside diameter of 6.25”, when in actuality is only 5.8” ID. Complete waste of money for me as they do not fit my fixtures now.
