Golden Boy

Very bad album, for me it is only 2 stars, I do nto recommend this album, it is a bad value, I am very dissapointed about the music.

As with all of his music, this is excellent.

Good stuff

My wife met Watermelon Slim on a train out from London, while on tour in the UK, I've not had that pleasure yet, but I can enjoy his music, That rough cut slice of blues that could be none other than him, and its another slice of blues as it should be played, straight, direct, no frills just great driving songs all about life's ups and downs. The voice,ther power of his guitar and the cracking band make this one heck of a good album. Worth getting into, a right little gem of an album!

A great album, with some notable standout songs as Pickup My Guidon, WBCN, Wolf Cry, Mean Street and Winner of Us All. Enjoy.
