What could be.
This pen could have been great, but tI tried filling this with many inks and even heat set the feed, but I still have problems with ink pouring into the cap.At first I thought it had a leak and was cracked somewhere so much ink came out. So I cleaned it filled it with water and saw no leak. I heat set the nib 3 times to ensure the fit was perfect. I tried Noodler's, Pilot Iroshizuku, Sailor and even the expensive Kobe inks and still ink seeps out into the cap and gets all over the grip. It works best with the expensive inks, but it wastes too much of them so I cant use them in this pen.I really dont know why this pen is like that, I have no similar issues this bad with my Noodlers Ahab's.

Good flex pen for the money.
Good pen as long as you use a good ink (using Iroshizuku Chiku-rin right now). Also, don't fill it up all the way or it may leak. It has good flex and doesn't railroad unless you are pushing down hard. FPR is very personable in their communications, too.
