BUY IT! PERFECT FOR FINGER EXERCISES! GREAT, SLIPPERY NECK.
Exactly what I needed at this point in my life! I’m a long retired pro musician, and I didn’t want to drag my Martin or my Custom Shop Les Paul down to my office.I saw my old band mates getting athiritic, and increasingly unable to play. I bought this for exercise to keep my fingers limber. And it works! I can still play like back in the day, thanks to this little gem.

Poor craftsmanship. Frets are sharp and uncomfortable.
Although the guitar looks pretty cool and sounds OK, I returned this for a refund. The edges of the frets are SO SHARP it is easy to cut yourself by playing just a few notes. I think the factory messed this one up - and forgot to file the edges of the frets. Either way, I sent it back.

Outstanding Guitar
This is my 2nd Traveler. My first is a Speedster. Very easy to play and sound great. I wouldn’t change a thing. Great value for the money!

Guitar was broken the pickup was cracked and couldn't be raised or lowered other than the poor quality in the Assembly of the electronic system and the fact that the string slip out of the nut on the head stick it's pretty good guitar

Impressed
Still adjusting bridge etc as it doesn't come fine tuned for sure. That being said I haven't bought a new electric guitar since 1977 when I bought a new Fender Strat. Oh yeah I've read about the 70's problems but mine plays and sounds dreamy, I don't think I got lucky as I think a lot of them are great.. better than some 60's Strat's imho.Anyway I took a chance on this Traveler creation for a vacation we'll be on. Honestly after reading about good vintage guitars (Genuine USA Fender products, types of wood, pickup winding, tremelo issues etc, etc) I was skeptical. I have found this new product by Travelers to be surprisingly good so far. The tone compared to my original Strat is fantastic, it has the same fullness but at the same time better presence, wow. It has a comfortable fast neck as good as my original. Same with the trem action. It makes me wonder about all this vintage talk just being bs. If you have the right formula (for any product for that matter) the age is meaningless. And the price & convenience of a Travelstrat? All I can say is thanks Traveler!

Awesome! but needs set up
I bought this to have around with me all the time (in the car, travelling, yada yada yada) after I discovered Muddy Waters invented electricity. It sounded awful when I tried it the first time :( . I was bummed out, but after setting it up the magic makes it POP with beautiful music! Its super light, and one might be led to believe its cheap and flimsy. Haven't been on an airplane with it, so I can't speak to that, but the notes just pop and the tone just is bigger than I can convey. Its a mystery where all the good sound comes from! Its probably the pick-ups. Well balanced on both ends. Volume consistent across strings. Picks up bottom end nicely and the top strings cut through nicely. They pick up hammer ons and pull offs quite clearly as the first note. even hammer on/pull offs. I put DR blues strings on (.11 I think) and an extra spring in the back. When I got it, the top E string A note would buzz and sound dead! I use that note the most! I played with the saddles and the truss(?) rod, and BAM! I found the magic! SOOO happy now! so don't fret ;p This is an awesome thing to just have in my hands and listen and/or watch something. Or when I'm taking a pilgrimage to Mississippi, or cuttin heads on Saturday night!

Surprisingly great!
My guitar arrived safely in it's own custom gig bag. Plays like a dream and don't fail to plug this one into your best amplifier. You won't believe the quality sounds that will come out. Not only is it's unusual styling a great conversation piece, but it's a fabulous player as well. Even the trem doesn't mess with the tuning hardly at all. Volume and tone controls have a good, even taper. Try it... you'll like it!

save your money
very poor quality build ,trem pin holes drilled too big so there loose and bridge wont go up or down, strings pop out of nut and frets stick out, this guitar is worth 150 dollars tops it would be cheaper to buy the individual parts and build your own
