Yeah, they break if you yank too hard. Its the glue seperating, it doesnt snap in half or anything. Buuuuut, its still super fun. Bought these for an adult party and they were everything i wanted cheap pool toys to be. The snobs on here saying its not good enough for their precious 4 year olds can suck it. They're cheap pool toys from amazon in bulk. Do you really think these will be the only squirt guns you buy little Timmy his entire childhood? You think you could send him off to college by selling them when he got too old to play with them? No its a good afternoon of fun or too. RELAX.

Easily the worst products that I have ever purchased on Amazon.
Bought these for a pool party. Used them over the two day weekend, mostly by kids 3 to 8 yrs old. Size is great, as they are small enough for my 3 yr old to handle. But by the second day, all four water guns were broken. Suction stopped working on one, handle broke on another, or otherwise the two pieces became separated and wouldn't fit back together. I bought a separate pair of larger water pump guns from a local store, and they held up fine. I'm guessing these smaller ones are made with thinner or cheaper plastic, so they don't hold up well.I can also echo the same complaints others had about the splash balls. They are about the size of a golf ball, and are fun to throw around in the pool. But almost all of them lost their shape after the first day of use. Instead of retaining the ball shape, most ended up being like a flat pancake.

you get what you pay for. I just wanted these to last for a birthday party. If you want it to last all summer, buy better ones! the balls were kind of a joke. they are not very big and don't hold their shape.

Fun to play with but you get what you pay ...
Fun to play with but you get what you pay for. Don't expect these to last the season. For a weekend at the beach or pool though they are fine.
