2.5" Ultra Thin Memory Foam Pillow for Stomach Sleepers, Slim and Flat with Cotton Pillow Case and Storage Case

I was looking for a low-loft pillow for sleeping on my stomach. There are quite a few of them. Many of them seem pretty darn identical. I picked this because it was rated to have less chemical smell or outgassing. There is virtually no smell at this point and it's brand new. I'm new to memory foam altogether, so I'm sure there'll be an adjustment period from my usual down or down alternative pillows. I should have known I needed a thinner pillow, because I like it when my down pillows lose loft. Note to Amazon: I don't know if the shipping carton needed to be that huge; it looked like you could fit some flat-screen TVs in it, but hey, good job in not scrunching up the memory foam.

OK. So I have a very, very old pillow that had been crushed down to almost flat and pretty hard. It's time to find a replacement before it just falls apart. Also, it's a king which is hard to travel with (won't pack easily). So I ordered about six flat pillows, some memory foam, some not, over the past weeks to try. All have been returned since, after serious attempts to sleep on them, they turned out to be either too thick or, if thin enough, too soft. So either my head was too high or it sank down to mattress. Then came this pillow. This one is thin enough but also firm enough to support my head and neck in a comfortable position. I understand the reviewers that said the pillow was too firm for them, but I would point out that if you want plush/soft, you need to start with more loft. Soft in a very thin pillow just means you might as well not have a pillow at all since there is not enough height to allow that softness. With this pillow, I put it on the bed and proceeded to sleep for ten hours and awoke with no neck pain or stiffness. I thought I had slept on my "old faithful" pillow. So, experiment as you need to, but know that this is likely the only pillow you will find that combines both thinness and firm support.

This is sold as a thin pillow for stomach and back sleepers, but because the memory foam is so stiff, it holds your head higher than a normal pillow. That totally defeats the purpose of a thin pillow. I really don't understand how this product has so many good reviews from customers who presumably wanted thin pillows.

I'm probably not using this pillow the way most customers are, but I still am very pleased with it! I use it under my shoulders and upper body. I sleep with my head on an extra pillow, slightly elevated for health reasons. Having this under my shoulders keeps my alignment better and prevents my neck from being in an unnatural position -- basically, I'm making my own version of a wedge pillow, only this way I can pick out both pillows and get just what I want. This pillow is perfect for my needs, and now my husband wants one too. The only fault is that the cover shrank the first time I washed it (yes, in cold water), but I can get it back on, even with a slight hitch in the zipper, beyond which the case will not open. Basically, we fold the pillow in half and insert into the case and it fits fine.

My new pillow arrived nicely packaged. Pillow case has a smell but it is easy to wash off. (I took it off the pillow case, zipped the empty pillow case over half way, turned it inside out to protect zipper, machine wash cold and hang to dry.)It was easy to put pillow back in the case. I love that there is a thin cover over the entire pillow in addition to the pillow case from the picture.Usage: I have been using it over a month. I love the thiness of the pillow (bulky pillows strain my neck in the morning). Thin but strong support. No change in shape and stays cool throughout the night. Best memory foam pillow I have used so far. Bought one more for my mom and still planning to buy more. Highly recommend it.

I love this pillow!! I'm a side/stomach sleeper and have been looking for a pillow for years. I know some of the reviews said this one smelled bad, but I only noticed it for maybe 3 nights.I wanted something flat yet thick and that describes this pillow exactly. I have slept better than I have in years with this pillow, no joke.

The soft super thin pillow is perfect for the face down stomach sleeper. Most pillows are too thick and bend your neck back; or wrap themselves around your face so you cannot breathe. The soft super thin solves both these problems.

Love this pillow, have 2 as I always travel with 1 and don't want to be without .....I have several herniated cervical discs and have not been able to sleep comfortably until I purchased this pillow....the pillow gives just enough support without bending the neck forward. If you like a big thick pillow, this is not for you. If you have neck and/or shoulder issues give it a try. Highly recommend.

I've used this pillow for a year now and it's been the best pillow I've ever used. I've had trouble sleeping on pillows that regular people use because I'm a side/stomach sleeper. I had to graduate from my old cotton pillow that my grandparents made me because it was getting too lumpy and displaced which made my neck hurt. I was looking for years trying multiple brands that were supposedly made for sleepers like me, but they were either too thin, too thick, or too lumpy. I was so desperate that I tried making my own with cotton, but that failed as well. I decided to give one more try and bought this pillow and to my surprise, this was the one I've been looking for!The pillow cover helps it cool throughout the night so it doesn't heat up, but I found that since I live in a high humidity area, it tends to absorb the moisture and feel wet even though it isn't. I took the cover off and replaced it with one a cheap one that I bought from Wal-Mart and that solved it for me.The pillow itself is made out of memory foam like the the name states, but it's not as firm as the other memory foam based ones. It's thin, light, breathable, and feels great when held between my arm and head. I've never had issues with overheating during the night either. I'm thinking of buying a couple more as backup for whenever I lose this or gives out on me.

I was hesitant about buying a pillow online but I've been very happy with this purchase.I hate using thick pillows and need a thin pillow or no pillow at all. This pillow is thin enough for me to use but thick enough where I can fold it in half for a bit of extra height if needed.The pillow arrived and was about as thin as I expected from looking at photos. The foam in it is very nice and makes it even thinner when you lay on it while still feeling like your still using a pillow.The pillow case that comes with it sucks though so make sure you have one.Would buy again for sure.

I sleep on my back predominately, sometimes my side. For years I would sleep without a pillow as most just caused neck pain. For me this pillow is perfect, thin and the memory foam adjusts nicely.Pricey, but worth it for me.

I finally found the pillow! Perfect for back and side sleepers. Just the right firmness, height. Zzzzzzz
