Poltergeist [4K Ultra HD] [1982] [Blu-ray] [2022] [Region Free]

You've most likely already seen this film. Perhaps many many times over the years. So, you might be wondering, is the 4K Blu-Ray worth the upgrade over the standard Blu-Ray version? Well...yes. Just get it. This is the best this film has ever looked. The sound is great as well (you can choose between the new DTS 5.1 remastered soundtrack and the original 2.0 one). HDR is HDR10 for this one and not Dolby Vision sadly. Still, it looks pretty great though. If you love this film, I would highly advise getting the 4K Blu-Ray. It's fantastic.

An ordinary American family living in the suburbs are haunted by ghosts and their 10 year old daughter gets kidnapped by an ancient evil entity. 80's horror classic produced by Steven Spielberg still looks good even with slightly dated effects this is a roller coaster ride of a film with excellent performances from Craig T Nelson and Jo Beth Williams as the parents and excellent performances from the rest of the cast looking fantastic remastered in 4K Ultra HD.

If you took the soundtrack from this film and replaced it with a more horror soundtrack this would count as proper horror. It feels like a Spielberg family ghost story that is somehow "safe". Then you watch it again and realise how dark it can be.This 4K version does the film justice. It looks and sounds great. No worries in recommending this either as a film or as a 4K UHD.

Decent picture and sound considering it's age. Worth the upgrade.

Superb 4K upgrade on a classic , This is imo a classic film, captures the 80's american suburbs feel and nostalgia , the kids star wars toys etc ... The film has been given a superb 4k upgrade and the detail is much better, colours pop thanks to HDR and there is a decent grain level, very highly recommended, mine came with a slipcover at time of order 2/11/2022

If you love this film and already have it on blu ray but debating whether to buy it on 4k, buy it, because it's never looked better than this. A really clean sharp picture that is superb quality from start to finish. The closest to cinema quality I've seen it.

What an absolute classic horror movie. I hadn’t seen this film for about 20 years and I’m so glad It’s been released on 4K.
