ELECTROWARMTH 800-990-4622
The number is for those people that throw away the directions without taking down the number for the company. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and hurt constantly. The only thing that helps is heat so when winter came last year I was looking for electric blankets for the bed but decided to go with a mattress pad for the difference in how the heat is dispersed. Over the past two years I have bought two cheap Sunbeams thinking they're all the same. Wrong. Sometimes you do really get what you pay for. Both of the Sunbeams controllers went out, one within a year and the 2nd one was only a couple of months. I'm still trying to get in touch with them to see if they'll send me new controllers. In the meantime, I really needed that heat in the cold weather so came looking for mattress pads again. I've only had this one a week and I'm loving it so far. However, one of the controllers didn't work. I've just gotten off the phone with the company and talked to a nice man named Dan who is sending out a new controller tomorrow. I believe he is one of or the owner of the company. He apologized profusely and told me to make sure to call them back if I had any more problems. They also do after warranty repairs if you need them.I followed their instructions or suggestions on here and ordered a cheap cotton mattress pad to put over the elec. one. With Fibro I feel every single little thing close to my skin and the extra mattress pad took care of that problem. I was always restless at night trying to find a spot for my shoulders on the Sunbeams where I wasn't laying on those wires. Granted if I had thought it was safe I probably would have done the 2nd pad with the Sunbeams but that still wouldn't have fixed the problem of the controllers going out. This mattress pad had such good reviews I decided to spend the extra money to see if there would be a difference between this and SB. So far, I'm loving this pad a whole hell of a lot compared to the SB. The heat is evenly dispersed and I love that part at the top that has no heat more than I thought I would.Since I've only had this a week, I'm going to give it more time and see how it does. I love the fact it is made in the US, it's a nice thick pad and I have no problem with seeing the controllers or changing them. The cords are nice and long, even the one from the controller to the electric outlet. If something happens I'll come back and edit this. But right now I'm going to say you can buy with confidence.

Works great, until it doesn't work at all
I was actually going to give this 4 stars yesterday. It's very comfortable, heats up quickly and evenly. I don't like that the elements aren't the full length of the pad, which would've cost one star. However, I went to turn it on for the THIRD time and it no longer works. This was so expensive to only last two uses. Of course, since I bought it in the summer (they have a tendency to be sold out or more expensive once fall hits), I'm outside of the 30 day return period and cannot find any way to contact the seller.

Finally my bed is warm!
The Electrowarmth Mattress Pad is superior to any of the electric blankets I've used in the last 30 years. When you use a heated blanket, more than half the heat escapes up, away from you, so you get little only a little heat from a blanket. But a mattress pad is under you so heat doesn't escape... it goes up to warm you. I think even the heat that goes down eventually is conducted back up to you, so you're warmer. I find that I use this in a low setting, L or 1, and it keeps me warm all night. When you first turn it on it fires up extra warm for a few minutes, so you don't have to do any adjusting to preheat your bed; it's a nice plus. The only downside, as others have pointed out, is the controller light goes off rather quickly and in the dark you can't tell by looking if it's on or not. It's true that all you have to do is push a button; if the light comes on, it's on, and if it doesn't come on it's off. Of course, that still doesn't indicate what the status was before you pushed the button (well, presumably, if you turned it on, it was off, and vice versa, but you might have pushed one of the up or down buttons and not the power button, so you can't be sure). I understand that, but it IS confusing and I really would rather not have to think about it that much when I'm trying to sleep. The company says it's to save power, but they could light it with an led and use very little power. They should change this feature.Electrowarmth is available in more sizes than other manufacturers; that was important. Be sure to check actual measurements on your mattress and don't just go by size names. I found Twin XL from one company was really just the shorter twin length, and from Electrowarmth Twin XL is longer than my Twin XL mattress. But by checking the size in inches, I got a pad that was exactly right. I also liked that the electrical connection is just off the end of the pad, while another manufacturer had it on top of the pad, in the middle, right where my feet would be.I also I like that it is made in the USA.The sides could be a bit deeper to accommodate today's thick mattresses, but I was able to get the elastic edges to just barely fit. You can have one made with deeper sides by calling the factory and paying a bit extra, but they really should make this standard. My mattress is new but not overly thick, and it barely fits.In summary, I'm giving this 5 stars because it does the job better than anything I've bought in the past, and it's the right size. I've been using it for about two months so I can't attest to how long it works. If I could I'd give it four and one-half stars because of the controller light, but I don't want to go as low as four. I think you'll be pleased with this purchase.
