4 Cup Fat and Gravy Separator - Measuring Cup with Strainer, 1 Liter Capacity, Make Gravy the Easy Way!

After years of separating fat (poorly) the old way & not wanting a very expensive piece of equipment or one that was poorly made & worse yet one that didn't perform... this purchase proved to be a welcome addition to the kitchen. Well made, works great, & cleanup is pretty easy.

Bought this one as highly rated. I make bone broth weekly and at first did great. I had washed and stored away from anything, have never dropped it or done anything that would warrant it stopping working. Unfortunately after 5 months the stopper doesn’t stop leaks and while there are no cracks or visible issues, I have burned my hands and had to clean up too many leaks from this. The only reason I am giving it two verses one star is that I was very happy to start with and it did a great job for the first four months. In all rights though I should probably only give it one star because of price and it really didn’t last long enough at all. Very disappointed.

I love the strainer on top to catch the chunks.It has a good seal on the bottom so the juices don't flow out until you pull the lever. As long as you let the grease rise to the top you only get the juices you want from the start!! My old style separator is made of thin glass and is very fragile, the spout is at the bottom but you always get a bit of grease when you first start pouring. It also comes apart for easy cleaningI love it!! .

This works so much better than my previous separator, which had a spout that poured from the bottom of the container. I was concerned that there might be leakage from the stopper at the bottom, but I've already used this a few times and there is no leakage at all. This is really easy to use -- just wish I'd found something like this years ago!

Worked very well the first couple times I used it, but after about 4 uses it started leaking from the bottom.Always hand washed and air dried. Made sure it wasn't cross threaded, and the stopper was properly seated in the hole. Now that it leaks, it is completely useless - doesn't hold liquid at all.

This kitchen gadget is awesome. It works better than I ever thought. This is my new favorite kitchen tool. Great design and good quality. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to cook and is looking for a good fat separator.

I've used this several times for making gravies and soups. Very handy!Price and shipping was cheap.
