**Q: Is the memory foam used in this pillow cool or is it hot ? also is it high density foam or the soft  type ? how much support ?**
A: To me, it is neither cool or hot.  The foam isn't soft.  It is advertised as high density memory foam and I would say it works well.  It seems to support my back.  I've been happy with the Bed Wedge set.  I've had it over a year and it still feels great for my back.

You could place this wedge pillow neatly inside， squeeze out the air, or use a vacuum machine or vacuum cleaner to try to extract air to shrink the packaging.

**Q: has anyone noticed a chemical smell?**
A: It has the normal memory foam smell. Leaving it in a well ventilated area for a day or two should allow it to off-gas enough not to smell anymore.
