Adobe Captivate 2017: The Essentials

Although I’ve used some video and audio production software, I’m a complete novice to Adobe Captivate. And like a lot of Adobe products, newbies beware because you’re basically on your own.This book, however, has really helped me learn how to get started with this product. Eventually I want to roll out eLearning to my organization and this book is really helping me get there.

I've tried to learn a lot of things including software programs with instructional books, classes, and online. This is absolutely the best book I've ever read. It was easy to follow. Takes you through it step-by-step without being too elementary. The projects are great and there are even exercises as confidence builders to see if you've grasped what's being instructed. I highly recommend it if you are learning Captivate.

First, it's a great book for learning the software. However, WHY is this NOT compatible with my Kindle Paperwhite (latest model)?? So you're telling me that the Kindle format is NOT compatible with a Kindle? Please fix this! (By the way, this same book from the same author DOES open for the Captivate 9 version).

A really good way to work one's way step-by-step into the use of Captivate.

The Essentials book is a great into to working with Captivate. While other books may explain how functions and features work, this book takes you by the hand to produce etraining. Very good. BTW this is part of a two book series. Get them both.

excellent step by step introduction to Captivate

This is a self paced book and I am taking my time but so far it’s great. Easy to read and understand and has already shown me stuff I didn’t know.Provides links to practice files which is super helpful. Heartily recommend.

Great Tools for work

So sollten Software-Anleitungen sein! Dieses Buch platzt nicht mit Informationen aus allen Nähten,sondern führt einen zielstrebig & verständlich durch Captivate.Mir gefällt sehr gut, dass die Teile der Programmoberfläche über die gesprochen wird, farbig abgebildet sind und Anweisungen für Windows-, wie auch Mac-Nutzer gegeben werden. Zusätzlich gibt es zu allem, was erklärt wird, Demo-Captivate-Projekte.Die Kindle-Version ist ebenso gut. Die Bilder sind klar & farbig und lassen sich bei Bedarf stark vergrößern. Es gibt auch richtige Seitenzahlen, anstatt "Positionen".
