After only 6 weeks, it will only charge at ...
After only 6 weeks, it will only charge at about 250 mah, not the 1,000-2,000 mah as specified. And yes, same result with 4 different cables that all charge at 1,600 mah with another brand. Add to that the LED flashlight faintly glows constantly, draining battery. Dissapointing.Update: I was contacted by the vendor and they VERY quickly made things right. When stuff malfunctions right away, it's disappointing. But when the company reaches out to you and makes it right - that is what REALLY MATTERS. And they did. Love the vendor!

Happy Camper
Here's the deal...This product arrived on time and in good condition. It also comes as described in the Amazon "product detail and specifications" section of the site. This is the first of this type of device that I've purchased, so I don't really have anything with which to compare it. What I can say, is that it appears to be ruggedly built, which is one of the reasons I bought this device over some others as I plan to use it for hiking and camping. The unit is easy to use and has ample charging ports. I initially charged the unit via the A.C. port and it took a few hours for a full charge, indicated by 4 lights on the front. I charged my S7 and small tablet simultaneously and it took about as long as I would have normally expected from any other charging source. Now, it's not as fast as my phone "fast charger"... but nothing is. I'm not sure I understand some of the negative reviews regarding the length of time to charge the unit using the solar panel. Yes, it took several days to get it fully charged from the 50% level and would probably have taken a full week from 0% to 100%. BUT THAT'S WHAT WAS ADVERTISED! The bottom line for me is that it performed as advertised and at this price point, it works for me. If you expect more...then expect to pay more for a different device.

Power in your pocket
I used this when I went to the Gambia, in West Africa. Power there was spotty at best, non-existent most of the time. Not only was my phone charged all the time, so were all my friends. I had two of these while traveling, so I could charge one while using one. While charging in public places, I was frequently approached by folks needing a charge, "just a little" so they could make a call. LOL I became a regular charging station. I could charge 4 phones at once. I used the flashlight feature almost every night, it is very bright, could light a small to middle sized room if angled correctly. Used the flashlight feature hours on end, not only did it never dim, it seemed to barely use any of my battery. They survived bumping around in my bag (though I did have them wrapped in a soft cloth so as not to damage the solar panels) now one of them is bumping around in my husband's army duffel for when he's out in the field. Totally sold on this company and their products.

They got a workout that week and worked better than expected
Bought two of these for my husband and son to go on a weeklong hunting trip to Montana. They arrived a couple of Days before Hurricane Irma came through our area. They got a workout that week and worked better than expected. The first couple of days with no power were overcast, so they took forever to charge. But, because they held enough charge for our IPhones to recharge 2+ times, it wasn't terribly inconvenient. On the Montana trip, my husband and son put the chargers in a sunny spot at camp before the morning hunt to charge, plugged in their phones when they returned at lunch to charge their phones, left them out in the sun during the afternoon hunt, and plugged their phones back in when they returned for the evening. Both worked great. Their only complaint was how heavy they were, relatively speaking, for hiking. That's why neither were willing to carry their battery chargers while hunting. It was not enough to lower the rating.

Great battery. Outstanding service.
It’s kind of tough to review a battery pack, but I’m going to give it a shot.I purchased this battery pack last year and it’s been great. It takes several hours to charge up, but stores enough power to keep my whole family’s phones going all day long. I typically use it when I travel - airports, amusement parks, etc. - all the places that seem to drain your battery just by walking in the door. The RAVPower Solar has my back everywhere I go.The solar panel is too small to really charge it up, but it does a great job topping it off, and that’s perfect for me. I’ve never used the flashlight, but I’m guessing that it’s good. Here’s the key thing for me - it stopped working after just over a year (as batteries do). I love it so much, that I sent a note to RAVPower asking if there was a reset that I could hit to get it working again. There’s not. But RAVPower did one better. They replaced it for me. Over a year old. Out of warranty. And they replaced it. Wow. Service that was way better than the last expected. I was impressed enough that even though they replaced it, I bought another battery pack from them too. With that kind of service, it’s easy to recommend this product and this manufacturer. Cheers!

This is a great device!! We are hurricane ready!
I ordered one of these for the husband to go with his hurricane prep gear. We have a nonverbal autistic child with an ipad for typing and worry if we lose power, it would soon die. He charged it up and it sat over a week before we decided to plug in an iphone to see how it works. It immediately charged it up, and did so very quickly! We were so impressed that we bought a second one! Now we are ready for Florida hurricane season, camping, and traveling in the car with the kids needing recharges. Worth every penny!

Defective power bank
I decided to buy this power bank for my vacation down south. For the first three days the charger worked great! The follow day it became unresponsive and stopped taking a charge or charging my devices. I lucked out the next few days because I packed a smaller power bank that I could of used.If I didn’t go past the return window I would be returning this paper weight will not be buying again.

good value for money
Very sturdy. Holds lots of charge. Still working after several rain showers - not sure I'd subject it to anything stronger. It would take a long time to charge the unit using the solar panel only - best to charge from mains whenever possible. Main criticism is that the flash light, which is super bright, can be easily and accidentally turned on - beware of this because you don't want to drain the charge. Otherwise an excellent unit.

Great Batter Bank
This is a solid product. Has fallen many times and still going, got wet and no issues. Has kept my phones (2) charged while on foot for hours. Now I need one with USB-C now....To be fair, I have never used the solar charging feature so I can’t speak to that other than I see a red light on the brick when sunlight hits it.

Worth buying twice!
Fantastic product, bought a second one almost immediately after. Solid and rugged build quality, rubberized sections designed to shield against hard knocks and drops. The built in flashlight is handy, and casts a soft omni glow rather than a harsh directional one, but don't expect it to be used for anything more than a convenience. It's a weighty an large unit compared to non-ruggedized options. I think this is by far one of the best values for power storage.

Cool little unit
Cool little unit, Overall happy with it charges my phone no problem when I’m camping from 0 to 100% with battery life left over on it the only thing I don’t understand is how it will not recharge itself in Direct sunlight it’ll only take that energy to charge your phone if the unit is completely dead it would be nice if it would actually recharge itself without having to be plugged in.
