This sharpener put a very sharp smooth edge on all of my knives. They cut just like new!I used to have a knife sharpener that had rollers like this one and it worked very well. It's the one my mother and my grandmother used. It broke and I was forced to use these new sharpeners that have a V instead of the rollers. I could never get them to work as well as my old one and the V sharpeners always left nicks in the blade. That's why I was excited to see this one that was a new design but still had the rollers that worked well for me and my family in the past. It worked just like my old one! I'm so excited. My knives cut like new again!It's very easy to pull the knife through the rollers and this new design is really cool. They have positioned the rollers in a way that allows you to sharpen scissors as well (there is a special slot). My scissors cut much better now. The built in sharpening stone is really neat too. I was able to work out a few nicks in some of my old knives with it. This is the knife sharpener I have been looking for!

you can never have enough sharp blades around. wont get the edge sharp to shave with, but sharp enough to cut the ham neatly, and thin slice tomatoes. like the stone on the edge for straightening the edge.

I used to have one of these gadgets with the ceramic discs, I wish I still had it it worked much better. These steel ones don't work very well. The stone on the top is better for sharpening my knives, but it is very small.

Follow the pictures on the side to get the blade angle correct and this sharpener works great. I was surprised, after sharpening, at how dull my scissors had become - and I had not realized it. The stone on top is excellent for new blades that need extra work. The sharpener is light, yet strong.

The worst knife Sharpener out there it literally just dulls your blades and does nothing at all to sharpen your knives their design is crap the material is crap it is literally the worst knife sharpener I have ever seen I think the good reviews are lies absolute lies

I bought this ahead of time for my husband 's birthday. When he opened it, he tried it, and said it does not do the job. The window to return it is expired, so I guess that I wasted that money. Disappointed! !!!

I tried this, along with a couple of other sharpeners, and this one was the poorest. It isn't terrible, but it clearly did not sharpen as well as the others that I tried.
