Amish 22" Bird Feeder with Copper Roof and Spindles, Handcrafted in the USA

I purchased two of these at different times. The first one was fine. No worries. The second one arrived in good condition and we to mount it without success. It is supposed to fit on a 4" X 4" post. The first one did. The second one was not made as well and I had to modify the post with my skill saw to allow it to fit. When I examined the hole on the bottom, I discovered that one side was 1/8" to 3/16" larger than the other thicknesses. incredibly shoddy workmanship. I will not be ordering from this group again, I, also, like some others, do not believe this was Amish made.

This item was returned and had rough time getting my cost back at first I was charged for the shipping cost back. No one called or either offered up anyway of help. The best I can say is the copper roof is nice. But otherwise the design could not be Amish built. Where we live our neighbors are Amish and we buy from them. The tube to hold seed is so small it might hold a small juice glass full. Waste of time. Never again with this group.

The feeder/house is an attractive addition to any backyard. It is of good construction and aesthetically attractive as well as functional. For me, it’s pricey but as it was a gift I felt the urge to splurge.

Hard to fill , as the only way to put seed in is through the very top , which means its difficult to reach --not a good design , but the product is beautiful !
