The cushiony lather provides protection for the skin from the sharp blade or razor while shaving. It can be lathered using palm, bowl or face lather after loading the brush. It comes in a 6 oz plastic jar containing 4 oz of shaving soap leaving enough room in the jar for easy loading of the brush.
