Chef Knife Magic Cuisine - 8" - VG 10 Professional Japanese Knife Stainless Steel/Includes Protective Case - Damascus Hammered

I am surprised at how easy this 8" knife is to handle considering I normally stay away from knives this large. Because I have a rather small petite hand these type of knives tends to be heavy and hard for me to handle. When I look for a knife I look for the feel and most importantly if they are balanced. This 8" knife is extremely well balanced allowing me to cut my vegetables and meat much easier to slice without having to apply too much pressure. I was taught a long time ago never to wash my good knives in the dishwasher because it can dull the knife a lot faster. I handwash each of my cooking knives with warm water and a soft sponge and I dry them right away whether I replacing them in their sheaths or on my magnetic knife holder. This knife came with its own sheath which is a major plus to protect the blade. I can say this knife will last a long time and can be passed down through generations like the ones that I have from my grandparents. If you like to cook as much as I do, I recommend this knife in your kitchen.

The media could not be loaded.  I have to admit that I never thought about getting a professional knife but I was so frustrated with all my knifes that I just decided to give it a try!This knife is amazing! It will cut through anything and honestly I'm so afraid to cut my hand off lol!Very sharp and easy to use. The handle is perfect and it fits just right on my palm.The knife is not super heavy but has some weight which I like because I feel more in control.The knife comes in a really nice box for storage and also has a heavy duty protecting case.I definitely recommend it. It's worth every penny.

Very nice knife and the holder it comes with, it stays sharp long, easy to keep clean, only trouble i have with it is the smaller 8'' size, I've been using a 9.5'' knife for years and not used to this 8'' knife yet,i kinda didn't think their would be much different's but when i go to chop steak or chicken i have to do more work to cut them up, it sux that this brand don't make a bigger 9.5'' knife, i would buy it ASAP

Wow, this is one of the best knives that I have bought. This wonderful knife comes with a protective sleeve which is great protection when in the drawer. It is a heavy duty knife yet so easy to manage! I LOVE this knife, it will cut anything with almost no effort. It is definitely worth the money! Cant wait to see what else this knife can do !

This knife is absolutely perfect! My wife and are were skeptical purchasing a knife online without being able to see it, but we have been using it all week and it's great. If you like to cook, I highly recommend this knife
