Just big enough lip to keep crayons and pencils from falling off. We also did water activities on it and the spillage never went off the tray. **Q: What are inside dimensions? will it hold a 9 x 12 piece of construction paper?** A: The trays have a soft surface, and are useful for crafts, as well as serving a meal. A piece of Construction paper can be used to line the tray for a craft project. **Q: Are the measurements the inside opening or the outside rim?** A: I would guess the inside area ## Frequently Bought Together - Constructive Playthings Messy Trays for Paint, Water and Sand Toys, Classroom Supplies, Toddler Toys for Creative Play, Set of 4 Trays, Ages 3 Years and Older - Kinetic Sand, 2.5lbs Green Play Sand, Moldable Sensory Toys for Kids, Resealable Bag (Packaging May Vary), for Ages 3 and up - Kinetic Sand, 2lbs Pink Play Sand, Moldable Sensory Toys for Kids, Resealable Bag (Packaging May Vary), for Ages 3 and up --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/442553762-constructive-playthings-messy-trays-set-of-4-hard-plastic-trays](https://www.desertcart.be/products/442553762-constructive-playthings-messy-trays-set-of-4-hard-plastic-trays) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
