The sharpener was wonderful to start but after a semester of pencil sharpening, it's not working well anymore. It may need a new blade but I can't find replacements. Easy when working for everyone to use. It is a two handed thing despite the rubber feet. Easy to empty shavings an reattach the bin.

The battery direction is not labeled and I find it very confusing to put the batteries in the correct way.

A little balky. Runs a little rough. Might stall. Makes a good point but needs more power.

I love this little sharpener! I bought it because it was less expensive since my daughter is clumsy and drops things. The best thing about this sharpener is that it does not eat away your pencils. It gives a very sharp tip without breaking or eating the pencil to a stub. I am going to purchase one for myself. We use this sharpener on prismacolor premier pencils and it doesn't break the core like other handheld and electric sharpeners have done. With using these premium color pencils you do not want your sharpener to chew your pencils up. I highly recommend this product.

It's a little slow and quite loud.

I got this in Aug 2017 for office use. Today I noticed the batteries were still good, but it wasn't sharpening pencils. The part where you insert the pencil was misaligned. I removed the batteries so I could thoroughly clean out all the wood debris that had gotten stuck inside. I put back in the same batteries, made sure the hole where the pencil goes in was lined up & it works as good as new.

Worked great for 9 days then suddenly stopped. Replaced batteries. Cleaned out balde area. Still nothing. Now it's just breaking the tip every time I use it. Looks like you get what you pay for after all.
