It worked well for a while. I was pleased. But the plastic piece connecting the holder to the swivel simply broke apart when I mounted my phone yesterday. I posted a negative review and the company contacted me and offered a replacement or a full refund. While the product wasn't perfect, their customer service is well beyond expectations. The item was purchased in October 2017 and it failed in March 2018 and they still cared to make it right. Now it they just replace that link with metal or stronger plastic...

I purchased three of these over the last two months or so. When it works I love it. For me, simply the best but two of the three broke within a few weeks time. After a short while, when you go to press the button that secures the mount to the windshield the clip just breaks apart. Both failed from the exact same part that connect the suction cup to the rest of the mount. What a shame because I wanted to recommend these to the rest of the guys at work but I won't do it now that I know what's going to happen in a short period of time. Maybe I should look for something else? I wish it would just hold up because I love it.

Update 12/28/17 a full refund has been issued. For this I changed to 3 stars from 1. I’m happy for the customer service. Although it did break after a month of use...for that I’m disappointed.One star because well, it broke. The unit is only made of plastic, and with sliding your phone in, taking it out over and over again, after about a month it just broke. Suction cup still stuck to the window, the rest just snapped and fell to the floor of my car. Not happy..it's now in the gas station trash can. Glad I didn't pay allot for it.

Put the suction cup on the dash, it seemed to work fine and hold my phone up no problem. Took my phone out and went in the house. Came out one hour later to find the phone holder in the floorboard and suction cup assembly pieces scattered about. Returning.

I received this product in good order and mounted it on my windshield. It worked fine on day 1 and day 2 but on day 3, the mount fell off the suction cup. Upon investigation, I saw that the clip that holds the spring was broken. Very disappointed.

Bought this for my bf to hold his phone in his car. It was a great product at first but after a while it broke and I had to buy a new for him but I different style and brand.

After a month of owning this mount it has broken. All on its own. It seoerated and broken at the suction end. The suction cup has twi plastic tabs which broke and the sprung fell out. Mounted it ONCE , never moved it and now its broken. I will try another similar item but thus one was no good for me.

Used this thing for the first time in the family van during our evacuation from Hurricane Irma. It held tight for a good 3000 miles and kept the phone rock steady. This simple little thing is great.
