It just vibrates but that's what I was looking for. When I've used like a back massager it was too hard... this was strong but gentle.

Sent it back immediately. Did not live up to the potential and all the hype I saw online. I was so disappointed. Tried it for 30 seconds and returned. Very sad

Must wear a cap for 4c hair- the wands get stuck in my coils. Wish it fit snugly and was a tab bit longer prongs at least hitting the temples - I wouldn’t recommend- it’s ok feels nice on the head not snug enough I wore a hat on top of my massager for a tighter fit
