Most "survival" kits out there are pretty much junk, which is why so many survivalists create their own. At Taktik, we believe sending you out with a sub-par kit is irresponsible. Compare this kit to others on the market and you'll soon realize how superior it is. At Taktik Gear, we have thought out how to maximize multi-functionality in a small size, and excluded items like the hand pull-saws or crappy plastic magnifying lenses in other kits that just don't work. With thought and creativity, most of the items in this kit can work in different ways for multiple applications. The triple antibiotic gel mixed with the cotton ball makes an excellent fire starter; the rubber tubing can be used to create a head band for a protective head covering, make leg gaiters, slingshot, etc; the "Tough Strip" Bandaid has a very strong adhesive, allowing use as moleskin, or cutting butterfly enclosure strips etc; unlubricated condom for water storage and transportation can be used in cloth or a sock for a way to carry water with you. We've included extra water purification tabs as well, for a total of 4, as this might be the most important gear you carry. Don't risk your life on cheap gear. If you want to be prepared, the least you can do is get a quality kit.
